I unfortunately cannot state here that I had a good experience with the food. Im sure the pizza is very good but i ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs and ceaser salad. Was under the impression i ordered the regular spaghetti sauce and it taste like the greek style sauce (which to me kind of tastes like pho ) which im not positive but seemed like it was maybe premade and baked in the oven when i ordered it. So i spent 40 bucks on that meal that i only ate a few bites of and wasnt feeling the rest of it. Ate my salad cause you cant go wrong with salad for the most part. No offence to tom , just wasnt my jam

Let’s get this out of the way: Tom’s makes a decent pizza. It’s good. But as someone who once earned his keep in a real Italian kitchen, I felt a sacred duty to venture beyond the pie. My friends, I return from the front lines with bad news.

Their non-pizza offerings are a masterclass in corner-cutting, a tribute to the “get ‘er done” school of Italian cuisine.

Take the spaghetti. I recognize the technique because I used to do it at 16 during the Friday night rush. It’s the “Blanch-and-Plunge”—noodles are boiled into oblivion, then take a chilling ice bath before being retired to the fridge’s witness protection program. When you order, they’re summoned for a quick, hot reheating. The result? A noodle with the structural integrity of a wet paper towel and all the fresh, robust texture of a sigh.

The “bolognese” sauce is where my professional heart breaks a little. It’s so timid. It’s the culinary equivalent of someone whispering “garlic” from another room. It desperately needs a backbone—some oregano, a punch of basil, a personality. Right now, its primary flavor profile is “red.”

And look, even their star player, the pizza, has a fundamental assembly flaw. They employ the “Topping Caldera” method, where all ingredients and cheese migrate to the center to form a dense, cheesy mountain. This creates a topographical eating challenge: your first bite is a Dagwood-level feat, while your final bite is a lonely, barren crustscape.

Order the pizza. It’s what they do. But if you have a craving for pasta, do what I do now: enjoy your pizza, then go home and boil some water. You’ll make something better in 10 minutes, and my nonna’s ghost won’t weep for your dinner.

Visiting Thompson for work, and as always, I have to try the local eatery! Was told to try 2 of the local pizza joints, as the town is saying both is great.
Tom’s was my favorite! Stacked high with toppings, loved the pizza sauce, the driver was super nice, food came piping hot! Wish there was a Tom’s where I live. I even rank it higher than Santa Lucia in Winnipeg. Will definitely order again when I come back this way!

Excellent food, great price for the quality and quantity. I ordered a 12″ meat pizza, ate two slices for supper and am having leftover pizza for a couple of meals. This stuff is fantastic, definitely worth trying while you’re in the area!!

One of the worst spaghetti’s I’ve ever had . How can you mess up spaghetti ? Dry. Overkill on the cheese (I didn’t ask for baked spaghetti) weird herb taste. Very disappointing & for $18.99 . Nuts

When I found out I was going back to Thompson for work, I had to go to Tom’s pizza… I ordered a medium all meat… Now in Winnpeg I have eaten a XL hotline pizza myself… This medium was heavy!!! I could only finish 3 of the 8 slices… An hour later I had a fourth… The next day I had 2 more for lunch and the last 2 for dinner… This is a pizza!!! I will get one whenever in Thompson. Quality Cheese, and quality toppings… And LOTS of them! So good!

I tried to go eat here as I was told it was good but there was a small sign in the door saying they were closed for over 1 month! Wasted my time and gas when I was starving..Not a good experience.

Excellent pizza! Thick with toppings but cooked long enough that everything is hot. I had a simple medium pep and mush. One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!
