I love this place! Everyone is so nice. I got a plain cheeseburger and fries. It was delicious. My hubby got the pitts burger which is pictured below. I also got French onion soup which was to die for. Prices were great, service was excellent and food was delicious. A+

Our family was traveling through PA and stopped for a quick breakfast. The staff greeted and seated our family of 5 right away. Our waitress on Monday morning was phenomenal! She was attentive and patient with our kiddos. The food was warm and delicious, and the portions were great! Great pancakes and french toast!
-1 star because the bathrooms need attention and improvement. The stall walls were short and awkward, which made for a not-so-private experience. Only one stall was clean enough for use that day in the women’s room.
Overall, the food was great and the staff were friendly!

Clean place, friendly enough staff. The menu is on the higher end, considering it’s out in the boonies vs the city. This is the first time I’ve seen a credit vs cash price on a menu. It was difficult to order good as when we arrived they were either out of a food item or didn’t have alternative options available. It’s tough to say the meal was worth it when the toppings weren’t fresh fruit, the egg didn’t look appetizing, and the waitress never came back to our table to check on us or refresh waters or coffee.

Toast was not toasted and i asked if i can have my toast toasted so they took my whole plate to the kitchen where they put my buttered wheat bread in the oven? Now they bring my food back cold but I had toast now. I asked for my eggs to be over easy but apparently they dont know what that means cuz I got sunny side up. They use precooked bacon and my baby cup of coffee cost over 3 dollars. AND they have 2 prices on the menu for each item. one for cash and one for credit….however I wasn’t even asked cash or credit and the creditcard price was on the receipt. I won’t recommend this place and I won’t be going there again

Can’t recommend Tom’s Kitchen enough! Our waitress Helen was polite and courteous, our drinks never were empty! The funnel cake French toast was hot and fresh! Definitely recommend to everyone in the area! Kudos to the owner for the beautiful decorations as well! Can’t wait to come back!

I have been going to toms my whole 47 years of life. Never had i had to return food. I ordered an American cheese and bacon omelet. First got a multiple cheese omelet that was slime. I sent it back and told them I wanted an American cheese and bacon omelet. Got another one. Again with the multiple slime cheese and just bacon tossed on it. I almost cried because I was so disappointed. I didn’t get charged for it. The waitress was also extremely rude to me then; probably because they screwed up.

If I could give zero stars I would! Helen was a terrible waitress. Never returning to refill our coffees, and never checked on us to make sure our food was OK. Served the sausage which looked like it was sitting for days with a bite taken out of of it. Truly disgusting and terrible service from Helen. They were not busy so there’s no excuse. This isn’t our first bad experience with her. It’s time to get some new help! She’s absolutely miserable with a terrible attitude! They can’t keep other waitresses due to her nasty behavior with staff.

Tom’s kitchen is one of the best family style diners I’ve ever been to in all of America. The service is excellent! The minute you walk in, you’re greeted by the friendly hostess, and our waitress was pleasant and very attentive. When she placed the menu in front of me, I could hardly believe my eyes. There were so many options to choose from at good prices. It took a while for me to make up my mind with the variety of dishes the menu. I ordered the crab panini with fries and easily could have shared it with my spouse. It was such a huge portion that I needed a box to take half of my meal home. (Which I thoroughly enjoyed the next day.)
You won’t leave Tom’s hungry or disappointed. I suspect anybody dissing this place in the other reviews must just want to keep this place all to themselves.

Great local breakfast spot. The food is good, service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I haven’t eaten l lunch or dinner there, but I can definitely vouch for their cream chipped beef; it is excellent.
