Tomo Sushi and Steakhouse was absolutely amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was delicious, and you can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients.
The service was just as impressive — friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and had a great vibe whether you’re going for a date night or dinner with friends.
Overall, such a great experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great sushi and st

This place offers a unique experience in town with a few tricks. The rice was excellent and freshly cooked in front of you. Noodles where on par with the rice. The wine was a great start to my dinner here and since this was my first time eating at a hibachi grill it was fun .. the chef was lively and fun and felt like an old friend cooking for you. Everything I tasted was good and of course super fresh the sauce they give you for dipping tasted a lot like the sauce at Cane’s witch I loved. I got shrimp and chicken and both where really good. There was plenty to go around and I left full and happy. I would recommend for a date or a place to go with a friend or two to celebrate something.. the price includes a tip so your spending about 40 per person

My family passes through Farmington every summer on our way to and from Colorado for vacation. We travel with a small child and a well-behaved dog. The kid is pretty well behaved, too. After two weeks in the wilderness, eating meat and potato’s and camp food, we are always desperate for some fresh and healthy food. Both my husband and I have restricted diets that unfortunately do not overlap, and finding a place that meets both our needs, while being 100’s of miles a ways from our usual “safe” restaurants is always a challenge. Tomo to the rescue!!! We may only eat here once or twice a year, but I simply have to leave a review because this place is AMAZING. Since we have our dog with us, and we don’t want to leave him in the car (it’s hot, and besides, he’s family) they will open up the single patio table just for us. They bring out water for our dog (and most of the staff will run out to give him belly rubs and love) and the bartender will usually wait on us, which I know takes her away from the bar, and we REALLY appreciate it and try to keep our needs minimal and/or order our drinks at the bar as we head to and from the bathroom. One time there was a balloon artist for some reason, and my son returned from his trip to the bathroom with a balloon sword and some laser toys that attached to his fingers, just because! This last summer, as we were coming down out of the mountains, scruffy and in desperate need of some fresh sushi and lighter fare, the weather was a bit hotter than usual. When I went in to request the use of the patio and explained our situation, the hostess looked horrified. I tried to explain that we did this every summer and were always accommodated and were very low-maintenance and would be as little bother as possible. She shook her head and was like “No, no, that’s not the problem! It’s WAY too hot to seat you outside, give me a minute to figure out a solution……”
She ended up finding us a booth in a far corner right next to the patio door, so that we could walk our pup inside without walking him THROUGH the dining area, and we’d be close to the exit if we needed to walk him around. It was as close as we could be to sitting outside without being in the heat, and still sitting in air-conditioned comfort. Since he’s very well-behaved, he pretty much curled up under the table and didn’t bother anyone, except again, for the lovely staff who came over and doted on him in their free time.
And this is even before we get to the food. It is always excellent quality, STUNNINGLY plated, and quickly served. Honestly, the plating and presentation here is ridiculous, it’s always so pretty. Having grown up in a land-locked state, I have always been hesitant about sushi places that are so far away from a salt-water source, but Tomo always has excellent and fresh and high-quality seafood, we have never had anything even close to slightly off, and judging by the traffic this place gets, I highly doubt they ever hang on to anything long enough for it to go off.
I may not be a Farmington local, but my family and I are loyal patrons of Tomo; the two times a year we pass through Farmington, Tomo is our must stop location. I’m looking forward to going there again in June!!

Excelent customer service and delicious Japanese cuisine. We went there with a toddler and sometimes dining in with a toddler can be challenging but the team very ready accomodated us. Lala, one of the waitress such a nice and friendly lady, she welcoming us made me feel comfortable. The owner also very happy to help us during our meal. I saw some people celebrated their birthday and they got a little entertaintment by the management. My experience stopping by in Farmington feel pleasant because of this.

Kinda average for an Asian restaurant not the best I’ve experienced but definitely far from the worst. Very well presented and decorated place, the staff could be a little more friendly. We enjoyed our meal, but like I said, it was more average than special.

Absolutely amazing sushi experience! We ordered the sushi boat, and it was a visual masterpiece — beautifully arranged with lights and decorative elements that made it truly unforgettable. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful, especially the sashimi and eel rolls — they just melted in your mouth. The service was also friendly and attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended for any sushi lover!

Food was great. But they tried to seat a huge party after we already order. The big party wasn’t even fully there yet. From what the lady told the hostess they were “15” min away. Which would have made our meal anywhere from 30-45 min late.
Even though the party decided to wait rather than sit with us it left a sour taste in my mouth. I think this place would do better if it had a reservations for the hibachi side.

Disappointing. Kids went with their dates before school dance. Party of 9. Ordered multiple Emperor’s Deluxe spreads, but it wasn’t even close to enough food. The cooks and waiters didn’t spend any time on them, whatsoever. Maybe because they thought high school kids wouldn’t tip. Not a great place for kids on their event nights. Disappointed us as parents. We teach our kids to tip well, too. They all had to go to another restaurant after, just to get some real food. 01/24/26 7pm

I was looking for a budget friendly place to have sushi, and I found this. Although the other food items seem a little pricey, the classic sushi rolls are very affordable.
Food delivery is very quick. I ordered 1x boston roll, 1x chicken tempura roll, 1x pork gyoza, and 1x mushroom soup. The food quality was really good. I specially liked the chicken tempura roll and the soup.
Atmosphere is very cool. They have ample seating space, sushi bar, drinks bar, and music.
