We love to come here for our sushi fix. Birthdays, anniversaries… just about every celebration we come to Tomo. The sushi is always fresh and top notch. The staff is so nice and attentive. The atmosphere is nice. Depending on when you come it can take a while if it’s busy but it’s worth it. Today we stopped in and got some Miso Soup as well as a Dynamite Roll, Hollywood Roll and Volcano Roll! Absolutely delicious!

I absolutely love this sushi spot! Every single roll I’ve tried has been fantastic — consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. My all-time favorite is the Channel #5 roll, but the Fusion Roll, Sexy Roll, and Out of Control roll are all incredible too. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. If you’re looking for a place that never misses, this is it!

Delicious!! Courteous and attentive service. The goyza steamed dumplings were tender and flavorful. My entree was hibachi beef and it was perfectly seasoned and tender. Hubby had black pepper tuna as an appetizer and loved it. He also loved the calamari. I asked for no mushrooms, as I have an allergy and it wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend!

The food was very delicious overall. I started out with the sushi sampler appetizer. The sushi was fresh and delicious, the wasabi and pickled ginger were a nice accompaniment to this dish. For my entreé, I had ribeye & shrimp hibachi with fried rice and steamed vegetables. Other dishes included steak & shrimp hibachi, fried shrimp, fried vegetables with fried rice, and the final fish was teriyaki salmon with fried rice and steamed vegetables.

Crazy Tomo was my absolute favorite one, really delicious. Not much to say beyond that, just highly recommend and will order this again.
I really enjoyed the New York roll, to me it had a subtle sweetness to it that went great with a light dip of soy sauce.
Hollywood was great. This was my first time trying any type of cooked/hot sushi, but I enjoyed the cream cheese inside this fried roll, would definitely order this again.
Effingham roll was ok. The pieces were packed with a lot of ingredients then deep fried so they were quite large and had to be eaten in 2 bites. Again, not used to cooked sushi, and never had Jalapeno in sushi. The flavor profile of it really threw me off. If you like cooked sushi and jalapenos I think you’d enjoy this. It is well made, just not my personal preference.
Will be back to try other sushi rolls. 🙂
