SALMONELLA FOOD POISONING
Took my girl friend out for Valentines day. We’re regulars here usually coming once every 2-3 weeks.
Service was good, considering it was packed.
Price was amazing as always.
Food was tasty, as usual… Except… They did not cook my chicken enough and I ended up with SALMONELLA FOOD POISONING!
I was puking, going #2, stomach pains, and had a fever for 3 days straight. Had to call off work for 2 days.
The basics mean everything! You have got to check the temperature on your meat, even if you’re packed. I would’ve waited an extra 5 minutes for my chicken fried rice if that meant I wouldn’t have gotten SALMONELLA FOOD POISONING.
Not sure I’ll be going back despite going here consistently over the past 2-3 years…

Ordered pick up. I live 25 miles out of town. And 5 miles away from home they called me to tell me they had “forgotten” my sauce. And that I was welcome to come back and get it. Definitely didn’t go back to get it. But so my meal was missing an essential part. Not likely to order from them again due to the disappointment.

Not sure how they run this business. Walked in to many people waiting but with open tables. We were to 30 minutes but they said they don’t take names so we were expected to stand there and fight it out I guess to figure out who was there right before us and to make sure the next party in would know they are behind us. Food must be ok since there was a full parking lot, but not many choices in St Joe if you want sushi. I’d rather just not eat sushi or try to go at an off hour

Recently went here with the gf to celebrate Valentines day and Tomo knocked it out if the park with their food. We ordered the Spicy girl roll, Eel and avocado roll, and the King calamari roll. Personally, the Eel and avocado roll were my favorite of the three, but all three were amazing! It did take a little bit to get to our table, but that’s to be expected when the restaurant is super busy and when we order three rolls. All and all, highly highly recommend!

Used to love this place. Literally just walked in. Standing there waiting to be seated. 2 different servers looked at us at least twice each. Didn’t say a word, offer to seat us, tell us to sit wherever. Didn’t even ask if we had an order or anything. Just kept looking at us and walking by without a word. Never seen such bs service at a restaurant in my life.

Awesome place! Our fave resto in St. Joe!!!! I really hope ya’ll bring back my favorite Dinner Bento Box! It’s the best one! Pleaaaaase!

Staff was amazing and helpfull but more inportantly the food was amazing. I used to think I hate japaneese food (I think sakura ruined it for me) I had the beef teryaki and fillet mignon side. The teryaki sauce is to die for and don’t even get me started on the yum yum sauce. Proportions seemed big but ended up being just the perfect amount. Best Japanese place I have personally ever been. Price is on the high side but it’s 100% worth it.

Update: 5/26/2025 = No more dinner Bento Box, so sad!!! Hope you bring it back. Also, do you not have servers anymore?! Everything still tastes great, but why the changes?
The Bento Box is always great, with a good variety of foods in the box! I always get extra yum yum sauce for the shrimp! The Hibatchi Steak and shrimp is great too, it’s a big portion. The service is always nice! Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait for the food, but it is a small place, and it always comes out good!

Food was great and price is cheap! Service was….. I think I shoulda just served myself. We waited so long I almost just left . I think they’re short staffed though so can’t just blame the 2 people trying to serve 50 people including a drunk birthday party.

I took my wife here for an anniversary lunch and was not disappointed! We had pork and calamari hibachi, eel and avocado roll and spicy salmon roll. The latter was a puree style which I’m not a fan of, but the delicate and full flavor taste of the sushi rolls hit the spot. The pork was on the dry side but the calamari was cooked to perfection, super light with a buttery consistency. The winner of the lunch was the crab ragoon appetizer. It’s a big deal when I say it is the best ragoon I’ve ever had! The accompanying sauce was a interesting and flavorful ginger sauce that commented it perfectly. I definitely recommend this place for a filling lunch spot. As of now, they do not have their liquor license so if you’re looking for a meal and drinks it’ll have to wait until they get theirs…
