My wife and I stopped in here looking for something to eat while traveling home after a work gig. It was late night, the kitchen was closed. The guy behind the bar, bless his soul, went ahead and fried us up some chicken patties and an order of their fries. It was quick and what he had available due to everything being packed up for the night but the fact that he was willing to go out of his way like that for two strangers who were just passing through speaks VOLUMES to that man’s character and the establishment as a whole. Customer service and humanity truly at it’s finest. Also, cold drinks and the patrons around us seemed to all be good spirited people also. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

We were on a business trip and finished working late in the evening, so we were having difficulty finding a place that was still serving food at 11pm on a Friday night. We came in and asked if the kitchen was open and they had just closed but the friendly bar tender made an exception for us if we could order something easy. We ordered fries and Buffalo chicken strips and the food was fantastic! The fries were exceptionally good, fresh-cut and perfectly cooked! Drinks were plentiful and very well-priced. We liked the home-town tavern atmosphere and will definitely return if we find ourselves out that way again!

I stopped in here once while I was having work done on my car and I thought it was a decent place. Nice people. I did order the “special”, it was “ok”. If I did it again I would go with a burger….go with bar food when in a bar. But I liked it. I would certainly stop again. Worth checking out for sure.
