This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:

Best spot in the neighborhood. Good service, better food than you expect from a bar, and great vibes. Hopping pool table, choice tunes, and room to groove. Invited a buddy to meet me here, but he had already been served his limit for the night. The whole staff and gentlemen manning the door were professional, respectful, and gracious despite his out-of-line hostility at being asked to leave. He was cruisin for a bruisin, but they were class acts and I’m glad I can still call this place the best on the block.

It gets busy here, sometimes it’s so crowded that everyone is close together. Everyone does their own thing but I did notice that some people’s energy is off in there every time I go so I don’t go as much as I used to go. Sometimes the bartenders seem a little ignorant. They’ll serve a man before I get serviced when I walk in first and don’t acknowledge me. I don’t like that part. Makes the tip go back out the door with me. The food is delicious. The pool tables are always in use. You’ll have fun here but if you don’t like big crowds, this might not be for you.

This was my 2nd time coming here and both times the food was delicious. I got the chicken wings and shrimp fried rice. The chicken was pretty run of the mill but the rice is where it counts! As far as the drinks, they’re not stingy with the liquor and they’re reasonably priced. The only negative is the smoke.

Tommy’s is a cool chill spot. No drama. All love. When there it’s a older crowd. Which I like. Pool tables. Food. And Jamaican food next door if that’s what you’d prefer. I love the bartender Shawna. That’s my rodie. Overall decent bar in the county. Mix patrons and everyone gets along
