Glad to see Tommy’s malt shop is here! Other locations closed. This was a nice surprise in a great location! Great atmosphere and food. Simple burger malt shop menu. And known. For their great Malta and shakes, etc. You can find them in Lions Park, which is a HUGE park for disc Frisbee, acquatics, fountain play area, kids playground, pickleball courts, and lots of shelters for picnicing. Really nice!.

Saw this place on Google maps and was pleasantly surprised. One of the best burger melts that I have tried so far! Crispy fries and a very filling burger. Didn’t have any room for ice cream so I will have to try it next time. It wasn’t busy even though it’s a Sunday and I ended up spending around $30 per person. Definitely recommend to try it out if you are thinking about it.

They moved from Chaska to Shakopee and that is great for us. Friendly owner and we loved their add on chicken wings. If unsure where they are cause it’s tucked back a bit, off Adam’s behind the Shakopee pool. Lots if great parking and sure a nice spot for parents to hang out while the kids are at the pool.

Same great food and service in an amazing new space. A food menu with options for the whole family, with great burgers and ice cream.

Easy parking, right next to Lion’s Park and The city aquatic center. Reasonable prices. Family owned and operated. Highly recommended.

My kids love it here. The chicken/burgers and fries are just what they expect and they are always excited to come. If you’re a little more discerning you’ll recognize that the food is maybe a hair above cafeteria quality. Great place for kids, the ice cream, little toy at the door, coloring mats, all fantastic. For an adult night out I’d go somewhere else for a freshly made burger.

Last time we were in we had one of the best servers I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. It was a little disappointing they didn’t have any onion rings available but most places are out of stock on those right now. My burger was the 50/50 burger and this time they did do it a little over done, but hey we had a very big group and everyone else was very happy on everything. We did get the cheese curds which were great. And I ordered an off the menu malt that was absolutely fantastic. They are very accommodating when it comes to special requests. A lot of places could learn a lot about how to do things. Food and service is top notch.

What happened to this place? When it moved to Shakopee did it go under new management??? The malts are now made with malt flavored powder…. Gross!
Went there Saturday afternoon and it was basically empty, now I know why. No longer a make shop IMHO, it’s just a she’ll of it’s former self.

To bad, should change the name really, can’t call it a make shop anymore.

My wife and I came here for a quick date night. Great little spot for burgers and shakes.

The burgers were good, the ice cream was great. The onion rings were really good too, the breading was crisp and the onions were tender.
I had the Juicy Lucy. It was good, but not the best one I’ve ever had.

The interior is reminiscent of an old malt shop (or at least what I envision one looked like). It was busy and bustling. Definitely seems like a popular spot.

Stop in and share a malt sometime.

Very friendly staff, great food! I went in November at noon on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet. I could see it being loud in the summer since its right by the pool.

We both had burgers and malts. Our go to and it never disappoints.

It was our first time there. The prices were a little high for burgers. The onion rings were cooked perfectly, and the malts were delicious. Clean restrooms and the staff was friendly.
