I work next door at VW and my co workers recommended to give this place a try – so I did. I got the chicken and broccoli lunch special w/ rice & a drink for only $10. Most places skimp with the chicken and give you mainly broccoli but they did not. Also, the chicken was cooked well – not tough or chewy like rubber. Do not let the reviews from the previous owner deter you from giving it a shot. Any Chinese place with the old school menu board always puts out the best food. Will def be returning – Thank You

When our local Asian takeout closed, we googled and found Tommy’s Kitchen. It turned out to be a good one. So far all the items we have eaten were delicious. Fast and efficient. The only negative is they could spruce up the place some…. but it is only takeout. Enjoy.

The counter people were in another world. I ordered general tso beef. The food was horrible. I didn’t finish it. By 3:15 AM I was woken out of a dead sleep by an incessant urge to use the bathroom. Finally back to sleep and up at 6:00 AM, I considered calling in sick. I went in anyway and spent more time than I’d like to admit using the toilet. I will never return to this place, ever again. If you do, use caution.

This was just not good. Ordered lo mein and a general tso chicken:
– The rice for the chicken had black stuff in it which I had no idea what it was
– The lo mein was so bland and slimey some how
– The chicken’s sauce wasn’t bad but the chicken pieces were just straight cartiledge

I have order Chicken broccoli from lunch menu and 70% rice was uncooked. I have call them to mention about it and they have offer me to replace it but when i went to pick it up, lady didn’t apologize for unconvinced abd didn’t have any regrets about this issue.
I believe they did have some rice from before and they have mixed it up with new one don’t want to recognize it.
This place used to be so good but now they have lost reputation from my side. I understand that everyone is struggling with recession but this is not a way to do business .
Definitely not recommending from their today’s behavior.

I’ve enjoyed this place for many years. They have new owners now and the food suffers for sure. You’ll need a microscope to find the pork in the pork fried rice, orders of shrimps now have less shrimp than before, beef and broccoli has much less beef. The taste is also not the same. What a shame – the food used to be so good. New owner will lie and tell you the old owners are on “vacation” . Sad…

Ive been living in Hicksville for over 30 years. Truly the best, the veggies are always fresh never frozen. The ting tang shrimp is my go to. The shrimp lo mein is the best ever as my daughter always says. And fast delivery.

Small hole-in-the wall Chinese fast food restaurant with table seating for 12. I went during lunch on a Wednesday. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the General Tso lunch plate with won ton soup. Overall tasty meal and thankfully light on salt.
