All the food was hot, fresh, and made to order. The fries were like if in n out fries didn’t suck. The burgers were good. They were like worse in n out. This place is worth trying out if you are a burger or restaurant enthusiast. The guy who took are order was nice.

My wife wanted to introduce me to this restaurant and the Tommy Burgers, which is a different experience, but their chili on a burger works and tastes great. This location (as of 7/28/2025) has shut down the indoor hut and only has the outside food truck while they renovate, but they are able to serve you just as well. The food was delicious, and with the chili, the burger doesn’t need other condiments, it’s moist and tasty on its own. The fries are just like I like them, meaty with a crispy edge. Great combination and wonderful food. They have outdoor seating that is shady and covered, but with it right next to the road it can get noisy.

I really wanted to love Tommy’s. I stopped here because I was feeling nostalgic since I used to eat here all the time when I was in college. They’ve moved out of their original
building and are now a truck. The prices were on the high end for a fast food burger imo, but everything is now. We spent $22 for two burgers, one chili cheese fry and two drinks. The drinks were just Gatorade’s and sodas in a bucket. They weren’t in ice because it was all melted so they were warm. (They did replace the ice right as we were leaving) the chili was good, especially if you like a little spice. The fries themselves weren’t crispy enough to hold up with the chili though. The burgers were cooked well and the toppings were fresh. It took almost 20 minutes to get them though even though there was no one in line before us. Overall not what I remembered from Tommy’s 30 years ago.

The building is under construction so it was the food truck in the back Sep 2023. Though this gave off a little bit of hesitation the food was great! Seating was better than expected. Lots of umbrellas for share and lunch table seating. The menu is a little limited while out of the food truck but it was OK. I got the Chicago Style Hotdog all the toppings. The dog was good but the toppings stole the show! Everything had great taste and was fresh!f Service was quick and the employee was very kind. I am excited to come back and try some of the chili. It seems that it is the claim they have but i wasn’t feeling it today.

I been wanting to go to this place for years. It looks pretty retro and trendy. The fries are good. I like ‘em. The texture of the fries are unique. I can’t explain it but they’re good. They taste similar to Red Robin fries IMHO.
I got the regular burger which is actually a chili burger. It’s alright. My friend thinks it was amazing. The portion size ain’t that great but it was good.

I got the double classic with fries. The chilli burger was delicious but a little messy. Make sure to grab a paper towel before eating! My favorite was actually the fries. The fries tasted fresh and homemade which is a nice change from fast food fries. If you do a combo, the large drink is definitely big enough to share with someone.
All seating is outside so be prepared for that. We ate when it was pretty windy so we were struggling to eat.

Somehow I missed that the famous Burger comes with chili. The patty itself was good but the chili had too much chili powder. The seating is all outdoors be sure to visit when it’s warm the propane heaters were not working.

Tommy’s Burgers is by far one of the best burgers in Utah County. The ingredients are fresh and so delicious. The chili is what they are known for and it does not disappoint. There is adequate seating, although parking seems to be a little limited. I would say the price point is right on target. This is such a great place to come grab a quick bite to eat!

Currently the main building is under repairs, so they are operating out of a food truck for now, with a limited menu. So no fries until they’re done.
I’d describe the food as great college food (or like hangover food). I liked my Chicago dog and the Texas burger as well, but it’s heavy. The atmosphere isn’t great, since all dining space is in a parking lot…but if the weather is nice, and you like dining outdoors, then this is the place for you!

This food truck was fun and in a good location. There was a decent amount of seating. The service was a little slow. The burgers were great though. They give you a bag of chips with burgers instead of French fries which was a little disappointing. I will take French fries over chips any day.
