The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The staff were very friendly and the chef even came out and chatted with us for a minute and gave us his recommendations. The soup was #14 and the stir fry type dish was #11 on the menu. Dont know how to pronounce them but they are hands down some of the best food weve had in Nebraska! Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Tonight is second time (in two weeks) that we’ve eaten here. I am so glad we finally discovered this place. It is so good! It is a nice atmosphere, and the food is delicious! We have tried the rice noodles with teriyaki beef, the egg noodles with beef and chicken, and the curry with beef. My family had the rice noodle soup with chicken and egg noodles with sea food. Tommy is great about suggesting and explaining the dishes and sauces. Tommy also makes everyone feel like family, and his wife is very sweet! Will be back again! Portions are large! Everyone except my dad ended up with leftovers to take home! Deeeeeelish!

We had just completed a 36-mile bike ride with a strong headwind and were ready for some healthy eats. But where to go near Nebraska City? Well, I’ll tell you. Tommy Angel Restaurant! Curiosity got the best of me when I saw a 5-star rating for a Vietnamese restaurant in Nebraska City with over 80 reviewers. I thought to myself: they must have a lot of friends. Nope, the food was fantastic! Very deserving of the 5-stars. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was flavor packed and seemed to be made with love.

So, I go in and the place is beautiful too begin with. The owner meets me at the door and introduces himself and even has a full on conversation. He walked me through what was what on the menu and then took my order. I received my order. I had the spicy beef with singapore noodles and egg rolls and it was absolutely incredible. Arguably the best I’ve ever had. The food was not only delicious but the presentation was just beautiful. This place is overlooked for sure but damn, it was amazing. I would encourage anyone who enjoys Thai food to check them out. Best service and food I’ve ever had, hands down.

Delicious food, comfortable seats, and fantastic portion sizes. I entered skeptical, as it was quite empty, but left with a full stomach and a smile on my face.

Really cute place. The owner/hostess was very kind. The waitress, however, was sullen and rude. Brought us a meal we did not order. Refused to correct the mistake. We ate none of it. She charged us for it regardless. Have never left a restaurant so angry.
The owner ran out to the car and begged us to come back in. At that point, we had had it and had no interest in eating there. She did, however, reimburse us for the total bill. Very disappointing.

The chef here does such a great job. Absolutely Delicious! Always hot and fresh and tasty. Definitely a favorite!
