Very cute place with amazing service! Arrived at 2pm on a Sunday & were seated immediately. Given free bread, ordered mozzarella sticks (comes with 8 for $8.99), lasagna ($20) and tortellini ($20). All the food was very delicious & had HUGE portions, and multiple employees checked on us and our drinks! Would definitely come here again for a dinner – they have cute changing lamps at every table that can make it more intimate.

Unfortunate first and last experience at Tommasino.
Service was non existent, no hostess so we were just waiting for someone to notice us for like 20 minutes, our server forgot about us several times, we had to ask several times for napkins, silverware to several people. Took around 45 min to get our food. They forgot to place part of our orders so we never got them. Appetizers made it to the table when we already had main dishes. It was truly a lack of organization.
The food was not good. Pretty sure they use bought items to avoid using fresh ingredients. Pizza we ordered was advertised with thinly sliced pear and we instead got chunks that looked to be canned, which made the pizza super soggy.
The bread is also store bought. One of the pastas was flavorless and the chicken was definitely store bought. We never received our other items.
I was very excited to try this place but left extremely disappointed. Do not recommend.

Had a fantastic lunch at Tomassinos Pizza Pasta Vino on East Griffith Road! This family-owned gem truly made our family outing special.
We kicked things off with the delightful burrata and bruschetta appetizers—both were incredibly tasty and just the right portions. Beers were nice and cold! Wine options looked good. For the main course, we shared the chicken piccata and chicken parmesan pasta, which were both amazing. The house salad was wonderfully crispy with a delicious vinaigrette.
And let’s talk about the pizza! We couldn’t resist trying the meat lovers, but my absolute favorite was the pear with Gorgonzola and fresh mozzarella—heavenly!
The staff ( Omar our waiter) was incredibly friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

I tried the pastas here today and both dishes we ordered were really flavorful. The chicken was juicy, pasta and accompanying sauce was delicious. We also tried the spinach and artichoke appetizer, and it was pretty good. Service was quick and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant itself is very nice inside with a date night atmosphere. Finding parking was easy as the area wasn’t too busy. I will probably return to try the pizzas on the menu later. Would recommend if you’re looking for Italian food staples like pizza and pasta.

My wife and my step daughter’s visited the restaurant around 5 p.m September 7 and we each ordered a different plate so we could all try and test the quality of the food. We visited for the first time and unfortunately it will probably be our last visit. Prices are very very high for the overall quality of food and portion size. Each of our plates ranged from $20.00 to $24.00 and the overall portion size I could compare it to would be the lunch sized portion you might get at a chain restaurant like Olive Garden. I myself ordered the fettuccine chicken Alfredo which was not a very large portion for the price, as far as taste is concerned it was descent as the chicken was cooked on a flat top grill and the Alfredo sauce was creamy although was quite bland and lacked garlic. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the chicken cutlet was over fried and very salty it was served with a side of spaghetti and tomatoes although no marinara sauce. Our girls ordered the Shrimp Alfredo and a Diablo Pasta dish both said the food was o.k. We also ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and they serve a small bread basket with some toasted french bread and two bread sticks. Overall food quality definitely lacks for the exorbitant prices they are charging. Service was slow and while there was a number of people in the restaurant it could have been better. When we were brought our bill it totaled $140.00+ I was floored at the price as I was charged for ,6 lemonades which totaled $24+ and it was not disclosed to us upon ordering that they charge for each glass. We were issued a refund for 4 of the 6 glasses of lemonade although for it being Milo’s lemonade out of a gallon jug my wife thought it was ridiculous being charged for that. The glasses were cocktail size glasses so I’d guess about 6 ounce glasses. While the server disclosed that it was listed on the menu I personally didn’t see where it stated that there was a charge for refills. They also charge a 3% fee for using a debit card which personally I don’t like being nickel and dimed. Accepting credit cards is the cost of doing business and because of this I unfortunately won’t be coming back. The ambiance is nice and the waiter was friendly although there needs to be transparency when these types of charges are going to be put on a ticket. We drove from McAllen to visit the restaurant although I hope future customers are aware of how much it costs to eat here. Papaduex’s prices for Fazoli’s quality food and portions. My suggestion would be to go back to the original menu with the original prices or double the portion size for a dinner priced plate.

The food at TOMMASINO was fresh, and our server Ramon was super attentive. We started with the fried mozz sticks—really tasty. My son and I shared a pizza, not bad, but I’m more of a Neapolitan pizza guy. My wife got the spaghetti and meatballs—the meatballs were on point, but the sauce was a bit thin, like pasta water.

I celebrated my birthday here and I’ve been back once so far ♥️ Tomassino’s has the best Italian food hands down in the valley! I love this restaurant. Will definitely go back! The service is wonderful and the owners are so nice!

Sadly, first and last visit. We LOVE Italian food, and we’re excited to try this new spot. Unfortunately the food was not something we want to try again.
I had Chicken Alfredo which I have eaten many times at many different restaurants, but never had a chef put crushed candied pecans on top of this dish…ewww.
The pasta for both the spaghetti my husband ordered and my linguine were a bit over cooked. We also experienced sticker shock. $80+ for two people for nominal food and portions.
We want you to succeed, but it will need improvement to do so.
