This is the best restaurant ever. The food is incredible. The owner grows his own vegetables in the greenhouse in the back! And everything is healthy and so, so fresh. It’s cash only but there’s an ATM right inside.

The reviews that complain about there being no sodas don’t know what healthy looks like! Just drink some water and enjoy the fresh, affordable, unique dishes you will find here. This place is amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough.

I was visiting from out of town and came across this place while actually going to another restaurant that ended up being closed. We back tracked to this place I saw and I was so glad we did! The cute red house with the beautiful front patio surrounded by flowers and plants drew me in. The pizza had me coming back the next day to bring a tomato pie home! Fresh tomatoes and basil, mozzarella cheese, and an amazing crust! The owner and staff were so nice and even though they weren’t open yet when we got there they invited us in. Family friendly neighborhood place. I wish I lived closer! Next time I’m in town this is the first place I’m going!

Amazing experience! We were Packer fans in enemy territory and the owner was beyond hospitable and made for an enjoyable evening. Food was absolutely fantastic and our waitress Karen was top notch. Highly recommend and hope to visit again the next time we are in Pittsburgh visiting our son.

Great place! Well kept secret also!
I sat outside in a great little patio surrounded by rose bushes and plants, very cool!
I had the chicken park and it was great, they grill it first instead of breading and frying, and the taste is so much better that way! I had a nice salad and fresh rolls on the side. I will be back to try it again.
By the way, when they say byob, they mean it, they only had water to drink! I can over look that because the food and service was great!

Best salad in Pittsburgh. Pizza always ultra fresh. Be patient, ask about what are the best fresh ingredients fresh from his garden. You will overwhelmed with what this owner can do to please your tastes.

What a peaceful and happy place to enjoy a high quality bite to eat! We sat on the screened in porch off the back of the restaurant. The pizza was so fresh and delicious. The tomatoes on the pizza tasted the way tomatoes should taste! Flavors are abounding and the beautiful garden that creates them surrounds as you enjoy your meal!

We had the tomato pie pizza and the beet salad. Both are fantastic. I rarely get a salad but I’d 100% order this one again. It’s a nice clean salad. The pizza just tastes fresh and not “wet” as white pizza can be with overloaded oil, grease and garlic–none of that here. The staff were all friendly as well. Well done!

When someone tells you it’s a “local gem”, that often means that they have come to love a spot despite its failures. This is definitely the case.

It’s never a good thing when the word “no” prefaces so many necessary items:

NO air conditioning
NO soft drinks
NO credit cards

When we were greeted the server told us they were out of medium pizza shells.

NO medium pizza

Which immediately revealed that they are using ready-to cook shells and not fresh dough. Yuck.

Oh, and then they got our pizza wrong too, but we couldn’t send it back because… you guessed it, they ran out of large pizza shells too!

So you can imagine my shock when I paid $60, -SIXTY- for two large, sloppy pizzas with 6 cups of water.

I was told by the server that most people bring their own wine as a beverage. Because that’s what the kids want after swimming all day at the North Park Pool, a nice glass of Merlot.

Never going back again, if you locals like it so much you can have it. I’ll pick one of the other hundreds of local pizza places in Pittsburgh that don’t say NO so often.

Great little place just outside of Northpark and an easy walk from the lakeside of the park. All of their food is great, but quite pricey. They have outdoor, indoor, and a psueodo indoor balcony seating. The place is usually packed and is only open half a year as a result. Try one of their signature pizzas coupled with a dinner salad!
