We came to town for a funeral and arrived early. Google said this was close, so we stopped by before the visitation. I’ve never felt so immediately welcomed anywhere before! Everyone was so kind and even let my friend practice his father’s eulogy before we left. The drinks were generous and the people even moreso! Every small bar should strive to be a little more like the Tomato Patch!

I am a long time customer since 1989 when I was 14 turning 15 and was learning to drive. My dad my actual dad had me drive him home from there. By 18 I had my first drink there, it was a family thing. I can list numerous times I have been there with family since. To giht I went on a random night and a new bartender was working after only four twisted teas, that I keep the caps for, my coworker was told he couldn’t be served no more. A man who has drank with 90% of the bar on a regular night and knows he can drink until I stop him was forced by a guy who approached me and said my friend was cut off at that point I asked who he was to say when I am the designated sober driver. He had the bartender say he was security rather then argue we left
