I was happy when they opened a new location closer to my house, but it seems like they need to dial down the oven a bit. When I order from 1st Ave location it is always perfect, but from the Hiawatha one it is always burnt, very disappointing. I love the browned cheese edge of the Detroit, but from this location it’s black and not edible.

I heard how great Tomaso’s Pizza is so I was looking forward to trying it when our family gathered together while we were visiting the area. The staff was great at answering all my questions. I decided to skip a salad and just get pizza. They make an extra thin New York style pizza which was perfect. My pizza could have been cooked longer but everyone elses was nice and brown. Everyone else’s pizza was loaded with toppings except for my husband’s Italian sausage pizza and my chicken, broccoli, and onion pizza. The chicken is smoked which I’ve never had before. It definitely has a different flavor. I have no idea how much we paid for my pizza but it could have used double the ingredients. The cheese bread is really good!!! Other than that it’s a great place to meet on a weeknight. Not sure how busy or noisy it is on weekend s.

This is a dine-in facility but the atmosphere is small and unattractive. This Tomasos location does not prepare their Detroit style pizza the same way as the First Avenue Tomasos, and you can really tell. All of the ingredients seem to end up in the center, making the center of the crust too moist. Until this location makes an adjustment, I would recommend the First Avenue Tomasos instead.

We are done with Tomassos. Just paid $35 for a medium gluten free taco pizza. $35!!! Toppings were mediocre and you have to hunt for the (quality?))meat. Too much for too little.

Tomasso’s has the best local pizza. People are often shocked when I tell them the price, but it’s definitely worth it. They have a variety of crusts to choose from as well as a wide variety of toppings. Including some not so common such as artichoke and broccoli. They are definitely not stingy with any of the ingredients which we loved. One large pizza fed all four of us very easily and we were satisfied. Since this was our first visit, we took our time making a choice. The staff was friendly and very patient and answered our questions. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning.

Ordered a Large NY style for near $30. Pizza was undercooked, cut into small squares (pub style not NY style) and the size of a small-medium anywhere else. Very bland crust and sauce. Better tasting pies at most bars, anywhere.

Great pizza and wings!! This is my favorite pizza place around! The thin crust and both of the deep dish options are great

When i order my friend was ordering too. We had a coupon for but 2 pizza get $4 off. The girl didn’t tell us if you do half and half that they charge extra $5.83. We would of changed our order. It cost us an extra $11.66 to do it the way we did. I think is really ridiculous. She should of told us. They do have good pizza but ridiculous prices.

Went in on a Sunday about 6:00 at the new location. The place was filthy. Bathroom had not been touched in several days from the looks of the waste and splatter. The table tops were sticky and covered with crumbs. The floor was covered in dirty footprints and probably had not been mopped since Thursday.
While you need space for you equipment, you have no room for a pickup to set the box except on the top of the trash.
But your pizza is the best anywhere.
