It was a wonderful night, and we truly enjoyed our dinner yesterday. We did wait around one hour for the food, but we appreciated the time to chat with my partner. We understand that it was a very busy Saturday night with many guests.

Sarah was very kind to approach us, apologize for the delay, and offer us a complimentary round of drinks.

It was also our anniversary, the team surprised us by preparing a decorated brownie for us, which was such an amazing and thoughtful touch.

Thank you, Sarah, for your excellent service and for helping make our anniversary evening special.

Great! Stopped here for bottomless brunch – for £35 each we managed five cocktails (all delicious and good quality) alongside steak and chips. Really friendly service. Would return!

We made a reservation 2 weeks prior. We got there and the table wasn’t ready so we were sent to the bar. Waited a further 5 min around the bar not being served. New people arrived and were served immediately. We then got taken over to our table and the waitress was lovely. We waited a further 10 mins for our orders to be taken. From ordering our starter main and desserts took 45 mins just for a starter to come out. The tomato soup looked like it was a can of chopped tomatoes. After we finished our starters we waited a further 45 min people who came in after getting starters and mains . It got to the point we were in there for an hour and half they offered our mains as it was miraculously ready after so long of waiting however at that point we were ready to leave. We asked the waiter for our bill she was lovely never caught her name but she was great. The bill came out and it was £44! For 2 starters a pint of Heineken and a bottle of desperadoes. I questioned it then another bill was brought out which came to 31.60. Granted it is a high price venue but for chopped tomatoes “soup” and some cheese balls with tiny amounts of chicken is diabolical.

Safe to say will not be going back.

We went for the sharer board for two priced at £85 and it was actually really good value for money if you pick the right sides. It filled both of us up easily and felt worth it for a steakhouse. We were there for my partner’s birthday and although they didn’t accommodate my birthday request, not everywhere does so that was expected. We shared the brownie for dessert which was nice, and everything we had was fresh and came out quickly. The staff did seem slightly rushed at times but the atmosphere was friendly, and we were able to choose a window table which made it feel really romantic. Overall, not badly priced for a steakhouse and a solid experience.

Went for the carvery Sunday roast dinner at tomahawks on the 21 Dec. Was slightly disappointed that the meats were quite dry. Sides were great 6/10 for meal. Service was good 8/10 and the place had a nice ambience; not too crowded 8/10

Just awful. Waited nearly an hour for a Wagyu beef burger. This thing turned up, dry as a bone and burnt around the edge. Tried to eat it but just wasn’t happy with it and for nearly £18 a burger in a steak restaurant I expected something really nice. I made the waitress aware and she offered to replace it. I accepted and waited another 25 minutes for my new burger. The replacement was better and edible, but still a really disappointing burger, definitely will not be going back there again. I’ve had much nicer burgers from McDonalds!

We arrived without a booking but were seated, even though they were about to get really busy.
We ordered drinks which came quickly and were given plenty of time to go through the menu.

We ordered a steak and a parmo, going just for mains. When they came out they looked and tasted great. The portion sizes were decent, and having not eaten all day, I still couldn’t finish mine.

Staff were attentive and when the bill came, they clearly explained that the added gratuity was optional and could be removed if we wanted. To be honest, it wasn’t that much and a bargain for the service we received.

It did get busy during our meal, but the noise levels were quite low so we were still able to talk without struggling to hear. Even though we didn’t have a booking and it was getting busy, we were never made to feel as though we needed to rush our food.

Waited 15 minutes before any staff even came over to us. Once order was taken it then took 50 minutes for the food to arrive on our table(only two of us btw and it was quiet) staff said they would waver our drinks for the long wait which was fair enough but that turned out to be of no help because when we went to settle the bill we were charged an extra £3.50 each on top of what the food was advertised on the menu. I queried this only to be told by the staff member “aw its charges” . Dont know what charges she means but hey ho we paid anyway. As for the food we received, bland. Parmo was made without bechemel sauce so was basically chicken breast with melted cheese on top. Dry, tasteless and left on my plate. £30 for some home made chips and a bit of salad. Will not be returning. Wish id ordered takeaway, would have been cheaper and tasted better and would have been delivered quicker. Please dont chose this place for a family dinner or afternoon meal.

Absolutely UNREAL. The quality of the food, the taste, how it was cooked, how much you got for the price. Could not fault it. Staff were so polite, attentive and welcoming. The espresso martinis were to die for and the music and overall atmosphere and evening was great. Can’t recommend enough!
