The food is decent, there’s a nice variety and good portion sizes, especially for the mains. I wouldn’t describe it as the best Thai food, but it’s tasty nonetheless.
Personally I will be returning for the lovely atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff who made sure we had a lovely evening.
I’d recommend trying the Thai wines. It’s not something I’d ever had before and I was really pleasantly surprised!

What a hidden gem. Literally hidden till you turn into the car park (which is free for 3hrs when entering your reg in the restaurant) Authentic cooked and served delicious flavoursome food. The staff were extremely polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was stunning. Very filling too, we couldn’t manage a pudding, but may be back for the Deep Fried Ice Cream

Takeaway, ready on time. Great food. Nice choice. Bit of an odd location but great inside & clearly popular for dining in.

Having lived in Belper for years, Tom Yum has been on our list to try. We were going to the restaurant, but we got a puppy in the meantime so had a takeaway! OMG was it worth the wait!! Having been lucky enough to travel to Thailand with work, I have to say this food was just like I sampled there! Beautiful starters and incredible mains. I am also vegetarian and for once I had lots of choice! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Looking forward to our next meal from there!

Came here for the first time tonight, really wish i had discovered it sooner. Amazing food, wonderful service and a lovely venue. Everyone in our party loved their meals and the ladies who served us were excellent. I will definitely recommend this place and come here again for a dine in meal or takeaway!

Delicious Thai food at Tom Yum Thai Kitchen. We ordered the set menu so shared a platter with five starters including spring rolls and gyoza, everything was really tasty. The mains were chicken in oyster sauce, beef massaman curry and a duck dish. Everything was well presented and tasted so good. We were staying locally for the weekend and specifically drove to Belper to find this place after hearing good things! It was very busy for a Sunday, I imagine with it being a bank holiday weekend, so the staff were rushed off their feet, but were still brilliant. Just a note about the toilets which are up some stairs and down a corridor; the restaurant is located in a converted mill.

Been here last time we visited the area so knew where it was! Anyone trying to find the entrance for the first time will find out what that means! Restaurant area is spotless and very atmospheric. Food and service is good. Do not attempt to go to the toilets alone! It is an escape room experience trying to find your way back! My partner ended up out in the street down a side road! This visit we were the only people in the place and they were in a rush to close at 9pm!

Went here for a birthday dinner. The ambience was nice mix of cozy and historic as it is in the old mill tunnels making it unique. Had the set menu for two to try all dishes. Would rate the food ok. Have had better Thai from other places. Worth a visit for the ambience.

The food was OK. However one of our of dishes had the dryest chicken I have ever had in my life.
The service was not that great, whilst they found us a table straight away, other than taking the order and bringing the food we didn’t see the staff again. We mentioned the chicken and the lady just took it away and said nothing.
Atmosphere was nice, it’s a gorgeous building and going to the toilet is a treat believe it or not. Overall it was ok but unfortunately I wouldnt rush to return mainly based on service alone.
