We were so sad to see this place leave Amelia when Starbucks came in. When we saw they had opened back up in Anderson we did not hesitate to go support them! The husband is quiet and hardworking the wife is beautiful inside and out felt like a meal at mom’s house. Everything we had was perfect. We each got the chicken pad Thai, we had the pork boa’s, Pork steamed dumplings the ginger salad, mango Thai bubble tea which were free with our meal. The she surprised with a beautiful bowl of soup too! Portions are amazing a small pad Thai had our bellies full and have plenty to take home for tonight which we are so excited about. Plus for the price you can’t beat it! Everything we got and we only spent $40! Definitely don’t miss out on this gem if you live in Anderson or are in the area shopping!

This is the closest thing to getting Thai food from Thailand as you can get. After spending several months in Thailand once I came back I was super disappointed in the quality of several other Thai places in Ohio, in that they were good, but not even close to authentic. If you are a foodie or someone who likes to find hidden gems, this place is for you. If you like spicy food, they can make it as spicy as you want it, trust me. If you do not, just tell them. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating and will make you feel very welcome. Don’t be surprised if you see this on diners drive ins and dives one day. 5 stars

I do not write reviews often but when I do it’s because I LOVE it. Tom Yum transported me back in time and across the world straight to the Phi Phi Islands. Not only was the food super authentic and delicious but the hospitality was absolutely top notch. From my experience, the people of Thailand are so kind and generous and this restaurant embodies every part of that! We opted to eat in and were treated like family. Will definitely be going back!

I stopped by on a weekday lunchtime to order takeout. It is a small, simple space with some seating. One person was waiting when I arrived but it was otherwise empty. It seemed that the cashier was also the cook. He headed to the back after he took my order and did not resurface until my food was ready. I ordered shrimp pad Thai for $12 (an upcharge of $2, which was not advertised, over the other pad Thai options) and was not asked for a spice level. It was a good amount of food, a nice mix of fresh large shrimp, tofu, and veggies plus some spice I could mix in. A quick and tasty lunch!

Ordered the peanut fried rice with chicken at a “hot” spice level. I had never heard of a peanut fried rice, so I was intrigued. I received a 2/10 “Chinese fried rice” that included frozen corn, carrots, peas, green beans, broccoli, bell pepper, and onion garnished with a lime wedge, raw cherry tomato halves and avocado slices?!?!!!. There were no peanuts, no work hei, no fish sauce and hardly any fresh or dry chili in the dish. Do not recommend.

I ordered take out from Tom Yum. We ordered a small beef fried rice, small pad Thai and egg rolls. The portions were huge. The taste was great too. The pad Thai is one of the nicest I’ve had. The fried rice was really good as well. The egg rolls were fantastic. We used to drive to KY for good Thai/asian food but I’m glad we found a place close to home. Will definitely be visiting again and an easy recommendation.
