Tom X Pub is a family-owned pub and restaurant located on Tom X Road in East Stroudsburg. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
After exploring Bushkill Falls, my friend and I stopped by Tom X Pub to refuel. The cozy atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the food hit the spot. Our server, Margot, stood out for her friendly attitude and spot-on menu suggestions.
I started with the award-winning chili, made with three kinds of beans and topped with cheddar Jack cheese. It was hearty and satisfying, though I expected a bit more depth of flavor and heat.
Next, instead of ordering full entrées, we decided to share a few appetizers. We went with mozzarella sticks, mini pierogi, and jumbo chicken wings tossed in their signature Black Dragon sauce. The mozzarella sticks were pretty standard. The pierogi were tasty, though I could’ve done without the peppers. The wings were the clear standout, crispy, flavorful, and the one item I’d come back for. The Black Dragon sauce was especially good, a peppery teriyaki-style glaze that hit just the right balance of sweet and heat.
We finished our meal with the brownie sundae, a sweet and satisfying way to end the evening. Between the welcoming vibe, attentive service, and the unforgettable Black Dragon wings, Tom X Pub is definitely worth a visit!

It was a delicious burger the half squash. Very delicious burger sweet and savory burger. If you’re a foodie this place should be on your bucket list . The onion rings were banging, the waiter was good, and the place was clean and friendly.. unfortunately we were late for our movie because their desert looked amazing.. I will be returning for more food..remember to make reservations it can get very busy..

Great hidden gem. From out of town saw the sign and had to check it out. Only had a couple drinks at the bar but this place is great. Bartender was super nice and gave us a quick history lesson of how the place came to be. Appears very family friendly and the menu had some good options. I’m sure I’ll be back to visit another day.

I had the chili, my wife, the French onion soup. The chili was warm and not very spicy. The onion soup was very hot and good.
John did a great job taking care of us. He was attentive and cheerful.
The environment was what you might expect from a pub. They had a great selection of on tap beer as well as beer in the bottle. It’s a nice place and I suspect that my wife and I will return at some point during our visit here in East Stroudsburg.

Tom X Pub is one of our favorite places! We go there often with family and friends, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always fantastic—warm, lively, and welcoming. I know what you’re thinking…typical pub food. I know because it’s what I thought too especially based on customer photos (including my own); but I can honestly say the pictures don’t do the Tom X Pub justice. I definitely recommend this place, small place mildly quiet at the time of visit, and even the locals are friendly.
Our server was very friendly but wait time was a little long. Understandable since just 1 server handled the whole place.
I want to post this because I believe the flavor they give their food needs to shine in the comments and even more once you give them a try. The French Onion soup did not disappoint! I should mention they have a pool table.

What a great place! We had never been here but saw signs all over so decided to try it. First they have white claw ON DRAFT!! I’ve never seen that before, so good. The bartender was absolutely amazing, super nice, super friendly. Their food was really good had fish and chips, and a ceaser wrap both were delicious. We will absolutely be back. Definitely make the trip and stop in.

Great place, all around! The food is really good. I had the french soup as an app, and the “All Jacked up” burger for my lunch. We were a party of 9, and they accommodated us with a smile, and placed two tables together and sat us quickly. Everyone’s food came out perfect, and everyone enjoyed there meals, and were very happy with the service as well. Kids played a game of pool, while us parents got some peace and quiet for a few lol. I will make it a regular stop anytime We’re in the Poconos, and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
