Absolutely stunning — inventive, impeccably executed food and service that truly impressed: the cucumber & wood ear with wasabi delivered a perfect sesame-paste + wasabi mix that honestly resembled Liang Pi, the water spinach with fermented tofu and garlic brought complex, layered umami, the salt & pepper pork chop with hot green-pepper sauce (the green-pepper-sauce + side-salad combo was unbeatable) was wildly satisfying, and the duck breast with black garlic, onion cream and chicory felt like a French take on Peking duck — the charred cabbage on the side was a lovely, smoky touch; both desserts were stunning, especially the black sticky rice with mango sorbet, and service was on point with a waiter whose recommendation was thoughtful — loved this place.

Everything is seasoned terribly. We couldn’t finish the dish. The sweet and sour fish’s sauce taste like tomato sauce in pasta.
The service is fine but the table we were given is terrible. It was right by the door so very cold and the butt the people who are still waiting is right by my face. Very expensive for what it is

A friend recommended this spot, and based on the reviews, I was expecting more. The restaurant itself is cozy and romantic, but it was louder and more tightly packed than I anticipated—conversation required a raised voice even across a small table.

The menu descriptions promised bold, unique flavors, but the dishes didn’t quite follow through. They only offer wine at the moment, I was hoping for a Chinese-inspired cocktail option, don’t think they have a liquor license? We started with the Sticky Rice with Chinese sausage, which tasted overcooked and a bit too mushy. For mains, we shared the Sweet & Sour Fish and the Duck Confit ‘Zhajiang’ Noodles. The fish was the highlight of the night, though still fairly simple, and the noodles felt surprisingly ordinary. We didn’t finish any of the things we ordered other than the glasses of wine.

Overall, I left underwhelmed given the reviews and especially the price point. Maybe I didn’t order the right dishes, but with a menu that small, I expected more consistency and stronger flavors.

A small but classy Chinese restaurant tucked away in the heart of Chinatown. It’s a great spot for mixing and matching dishes to share. Most of what we tried was really delicious, but I especially recommend the prawn toast and the cucumber/wood ear mushroom salad – definitely worth a try!

We absolutely loved this restaurant. It’s small, intimate, and has excellent food and service. The staff was the right amount of attentive and the food was delicious and well priced. Sitting at the bar was also fun because we really enjoyed getting to see the food being prepared. We’ll definitely be back its a new favorite for us! Our favorite dishes include the razor clams and cucumber/wood ear mushroom wasabi dish and the crab fried rice!

Nearly every dish was overwhelmingly salty and overpriced. The fish was heavily breaded, overcooked, and the sauce had a canned pineapple taste. The only item I’d truly recommend is the rice roll with XO sauce—though even that was quite salty. I was also charged an extra $2 for dipping sauce, which I only needed because the fries were way too salty to eat alone. High prices can be justified by quality, but unfortunately, this meal didn’t deliver. If you’re craving Asian cuisine in Chinatown, I’d strongly suggest trying a different spot.

This place would be a decent start to a night spent eating in Chinatown. Especially if they served cocktails.

We glanced at the eye-wateringly priced $42 beef and broccoli and the $37 fried fish, and decided to just order a few apps and small bites. They were all very good and not horribly priced. In fact, they were good enough that I’d come back here and try their fried chicken.

My favorite dish was the rolled rice noodles. They were tasty and unique.

Next time we’ll come back here, grab the noodles and the fried chicken, and then head down the street and properly feast at a Chinatown restaurant. Just hope Tolo can get their liquor license before then.

Cute new spot in Dimes Square! The raw tuna was marinated in yummy soy/sesame sauce. Loved the water spinach, reminded me of home and had a nice kick to it. The star of the show was the crab fried rice so much flavor, would definitely order again. I wish portions were a little bigger, but flavor made up for the size.

I really loved this restaurant- the food was really well-seasoned, creative, and light (really appreciated all of the veggie side dishes). The vibe was really trendy yet humble, and we loved how helpful and fast the service was.

Our favorites were the rice cakes (slightly charred rice rolls), green beans (perfectly stir-fried with a nice, natural sweetness), and morning glory (great sauce and texture).
