Tolli’s is a really great Italian option on John’s Island. We’ve been coming here since they opened and it does not disappoint. We’ve had probably over half of the menu at this point and it’s all wonderful. The penne alla vodka is always my personal favorite but there are so many other great options. It’s a nice option if you want Italian on the island but don’t want to go with our only other option. Definitely recommend trying it. Even for take out and getting pizza!

Best pizza, by far, in town. Newhaven CT style pizza is the “crème de la crème” of pizza styles and this one is an off-the-hook rendition! Great value too!

Dined here after visiting Charleston Tea Gardens and Angel Oak. The wait at Wild Olive was too long and Trolli’s was an excellent substitute. My husband and I shared the Linguine with Clams and Chicken Piccata. Both were delightful. Our children shared a Margherita pizza and a side of meatballs. They ate every bit. Dessert was also nice – a huge slice of butterscotch cheesecake and a chocolate mousse.

A real authentic Italian trattoria with phenomenal apizza style pizza. The service and owners are fantastic. Great amaro selection and delicious cocktails. Sit at the bar!

We have been 4 times now and the food is fresh, plentiful and flavorful. Their pistachio cheesecake and raspberry lemon cheesecake are delicious and we brought them home to enjoy over the next couple of days. The linguine and clam sauce is almost as good as my husband’s recipe . Their bread is fresh and great to finish off the clam sauce. The meatballs are a great meal if you are skipping pasta. Their pizzas are wood fired thin and crispy with many choices for toppings with both red and white sauce. The staff is friendly and attentive. Even the customers are friendly and smile and greet you. Thankful they are here on John’s Island

The marinara was more like tomato soup and the add on meatball was good but small for the price. Husband’s chubby sub was very tasty and would have been perfect had the bread had a crunchy crust. Was surprised no piece of bread served with the pasta and had to ask for cheese. Would eat there again, though

I had the 10” Pepperoni pizza. Thin and crisp, decent cheese. I ordered the garlic knots but they were too soggy.

Two people. Had a bread appetizer because entrees do not include it, two entrees, cocktails. $224 including 20% tip. We waited and waited for drinks and apps. Not the waiters fault. Food was good, not great plentiful portions but. Like someone else said in a previous review the gnocchi was not hot so cheese didn’t melt. But this was not a $200 atmosphere or service experience. For that we would have gone downtown. Will not be back. Disappointed

My wife wanted to order the Pesto Gnocchi last night and I was going to order pizza. When I started building the order, and had to add Mozzarella cheese as a topping, my 12″ pizza crossed over $20 and I pulled it from my order. I order my wife’s, which she added 6 grilled shrimp, and the total with 10% tip, to go order, was $40. I ordered my 16″ pizza from the restaurant down the street. The quality of the food was OK but the serving size was that of an appetizer, and for $40, it should have had leftovers for the following day. This is not worth it and we will not be coming back.
