Brought my mom over to hancock nh for mothers day to pick some tulips and I came across this place trying to find a good tavern and we came here and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! Everything was sooo delicious and cooked perfect. Our server was sooo sweet and everyone was just so friendly. I plan on coming back very very soon.

One of my favorite places ever. Absolutely great food and drinks. Service is awesome. Have sat inside at the bar and outside on the deck. Kids love it. Typically we roll in from skiing but during the summer we go after being in the lake. I’ve tried almost every menu option and loved most of it. Pretzels are always a hit.

Drinks ok. Not much Gluten Free. All items precooked so I couldn’t get anything baked. People and staff are friendly. Got the bloodmary was very good and had a salad as it was the safest bet.

Simply GREAT A 300 year old historic Tavern that sits on one of New Englands original toll roads. A Tavern by definition is a bar that sells food, the food here is “elevated”, tasty, plentiful, locally sourced and affordable. This place caters to the locals and they set this place apart, over gracious and engaging. Ate here three time’s for the food and good local conversations. It’s a Tavern they have a restaurant side, use common sense if you don’t want your children to be exposed to Bar topics move to the restaurant. Food is exceptional, variety expanded, staff engaged, locals hilarious. We Loved, Loved, Loved this Tavern.

Really enjoyed the steak tips and crispy fish taco (taco Tuesday). But the biggest surprise might have been the nacho appetiser with steak, veggies, and Mac & cheese. Delicious! Also received great service.

Two dirt roads to get there and then beautiful. Live band, great drinks and fabulous food. Oh and there is golf too!!

Would have left a decent review if the staff/manager were self aware enough not to use obscene language in front of a 5 & 9 year old when being presented an issue. Instead, we were presented with “playing dumb” and “I don’t say this often, but $*%#?|” while in front of my kids. (This had nothing to do with the kids, just parking in line with 2 other people)

We adore Toll Booth Tavern! Really great fries, craft beer, calamari, and sandwiches. Nancy was our bartender and she provided great customer service, fast and friendly. We really appreciated that they were open during a snow storm! You can even order food for pick up through Toast Tab which is so convenient in our area, perfect for a post skiing meal. We will be back for the live music!

Service is great, people are pleasant. Food average. Who doesn’t love fried pickles! Drinks are good. Should’ve tried the mussles. Sad to see langastinos in the baked seafood dish.
