The first time I tried to come here was when it was trending on my IG feed and it was way too packed to come in. Months later I was looking for a spot on a Saturday to grab a casual meal with a friend. It was not crowded actually quiet and the server was really polite and cleared our dishes frequently. For the sushi, I’m usually a frequenter of Akino and while Akino has slightly more variety, this place has more bang for your buck. Especially the salmon ce with thick slices for sashimi, good rice to roll ratio for classic rolls. The special roll (bumblebee) was HUGE but tasty. I would recommend this place as comparable experience wise to Akino but definitely worth it if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative. $38 for weekend (dinner menu all day)
One good thing to note is that dessert is also AYCE here (though selection is limited to 4 cakes and 1 grass jelly dessert, still nice that it’s ayce)

My three friends and I visited this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant for the first time. The decor is unique and stylish, and the vibe inside is great. The food came out quickly, and it was truly great value for money. We all had a blast tonight—I will definitely be back!

Perfect for birthday celebrations! We came with a group of 5 and got one person’s meal free with the birthday promotion. The sushi was fresh, the service was excellent, and the value is unbeatable. A fantastic deal!

This was my first time coming to Tokyo ya. I came during lunch on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not crowded at all. I ordered using a QR code and my food came out quickly. The sushi was fresh and everything was portioned nicely. The ambience was great too. Perfect for dining alone or catching up with friends.

It was a pretty good deal. For 37.99 dollars per person it’s an all you can eat with great food, the rolls tasted great and the food looked amazing as well. The decor is also very pretty, with Japanese yokai masks on the walls and photos of Japanese style things.

Awesome and affordable all you can eat sushi place in Astoria!! The highlights for me were the kani salad, the fresh tasting sashimi, and the cute sushi donuts. They have all kinds of other innovative selections like sushi tacos that you can enjoy as well. Definitely coming back here!!

I stumbled upon this divine find during my Saturday afternoon stroll through Ditmars Boulevard-Astoria, Queens.
When I read the “All You Can Eat” banner, I envisioned a buffet style set-up. I was blown away when I discovered you can order any item listed on the menu (yes, any item) and the food is freshly made and delicious .
You have 90 minutes to try every delicious item. But believe it or not, it only takes about 30 minutes (tried and tested)
If you are not a raw fish kind of person, there’s plenty of delicious cooked sushi and sashimi for you too .
I highly recommend you try Tokyo Ya. Five Stars all the way⭐️

Not too noisy, food was good, service was good, some dishes took little long. Don’t order too much at once otherwise there won’t be any table space. You can always add to your order as you go along.

Tokyo Ya is an absolute gem for sushi lovers — the sashimi is incredibly fresh, thick-cut, and melts in your mouth. Their miso soup is rich, comforting, and full of flavor, the perfect way to start the meal. Everything is made to order, and the quality is top-tier for an all-you-can-eat spot. Can’t wait to go back for another round!
