Cozy and beautiful place with a nice atmosphere. The tartare was delicious, and the ramen was good, not too heavy or overly rich. The sushi wasn’t really my favorite, it tasted a bit specific for me. Overall, it’s a decent place and worth a visit.

My friend had been wanting to try out this place because she known the guy who was working on opening up this place. And I can say this was definitely worth it! The vibes were high end and all the food was delicious we had come around 5pm when it had opened and the owner I believe came up and greeted us giving us recommendations and bringing a nice welcoming vibe! It is a higher end fancy place but not in an intimidating way! The salmon sashimi was buttery smooth and delicious . And the sushi was so good very saucy and delicious I enjoyed myself so much! I would come here again to celebrate as a special occasion! I would recommend giving this place a visit!! Especially since they opened up recently!

Best quality nigiri in the south miami selection. Great miso soup and favorite rolls were the Alex two & tuna crunch. Love the high end look, plating, and atmosphere. Hope to try the sushi river boat next time. Server Andres was exceptional.

I celebrated my birthday at Tokyo Tuna restaurant and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every sushi roll was fresh and perfectly prepared. The owner even came to our table several times to make sure everything was perfect and that we were having a great time, which made the experience feel even more special. They truly made my birthday feel special. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great sushi and outstanding service!

I really wanted to love this place because the location is great and our server was incredibly sweet, we actually felt bad leaving at first. But unfortunately, the experience just didn’t live up to expectations.
We arrived right at 5 p.m., expecting the restaurant to be ready to serve us. Instead, we waited about 40 minutes for the tuna crispy rice, and the conveyor belt remained mostly empty the entire time. By 6 p.m., we had only picked one roll off the belt and decided to ask for the check.
To make matters worse, watching the sushi chefs pump tuna out of a plastic bag didn’t exactly keep us wanting more.
Really disappointing overall. I’d recommend going somewhere else in South Miami.
