The look and presentation of the food is fantastic. I would call this Japanese inspired American food. It’s the heavily fried and seasoned comfort food version of Japanese food – which isn’t a bad thing – just not really authentic tasting Japanese food. But that’s ok if there’s what you’re into or just need some Asian inspired comfort food! Its analogous to how NY style Chinese food is different from real Chinese food, but still loved by many. It’s like good Japanese inspired fast food, like a Japanese KFC or something. It certainly wasn’t bad food and my 11 year old loved it! Katsu pork was fried well, if a little heavier and overcooked than usual. Ramen was pretty salty, pork belly ok, noodles not typical ramen noodles for tonkotsu style ramen (which they call tonkAtsu for some reason). They have Ramune and other specialty boba drinks, which is cool. They have lots of appetisers, like takoyaki, many of which are probably fried prepackaged frozen foods you can get at the Asian stores. The employees were very nice and helpful, which we appreciated. They deserve the praise. Plenty of business coming their way, even anime teens, so that’s good for them. Just stay on top of bussing those tables; we had to bus our own because there were literally 7 unused tables when we ordered.

This place was so good I paused while eating to write this review. Very friendly staff, opened a second line when first cashier was occupied. The orders came out quickly, the place itself is very clean.
As for the food, very delicious. I really liked their new blossom chicken, crunchy even with the sauce. The popcorn chicken has amazing flavor, and their hibachi was very good. Great bang for your buck, will definitely return and recommend. 🙂

The food here is good and well priced! The service is always friendly as well. My last order I made for pickup was just so wrong and I didn’t realize until I’d eager poured the white sauce on it– no fried rice(got noodles) or blossom chicken, my favorite(got tofu instead ). We dont have a functioning kitchen at home right now and I was really looking forward to what I had asked for. Otherwise this is a good spot and I’d still recommend and go back, I’ll just be sure to double check next time I ask to-go.

Delicious authentic Japanese ramen and build your own bowl, with generous portions. Customizability of spice level from 1-5 was nice as well.

I ordered takeout from the restaurant for the first time. Reviews were decent.
Traditional Japanese food is light and delicate. This was horrible. Overcooked food. Received the wrong item and when I called back was told I could return it for the correct item? Not interested in getting more bad food. Just wanted a credit for the wrong item and they credited me for a protein side.
Horrible food and a terrible response from management with regard to their mistake.
Do not support bad food and bad business.
Very disappointing.

I love this place, I feel like they always have reasonable prices and the amount of food you get fills you up. Always a great time, I eat in with friends and we play games at our table because the environment is so nice. They also have boba selections and dessert. Plant-based friendly. My food is usually so good I forget to take a picture, but I will shoutout their friendly staff. Tokyo Teppan also offers a point system if you go regularly. Use phone number etc.

Great Japanese fast food on the east side of town. Fair prices, generous portions, and great options for ramen, teppan, and bento.

The food is great. Hot honey wings were great. Much more American blend than traditional style.
They play documentaries of Japanese restaurants and shops so it is a little turn off when you cant order most of whats being shown to you.
They have a great little selection of choices and staff was friendly. Service was quick and everything was fresh and prepared well.
