I’m not sure why this place was empty on a Saturday. The wait staff (owners maybe?) were pleasant and the food excellent. I got one of the specials, orange tofu and my husband got steak tips, shrimp and fried rice. Both were fantastic. The menu is immense, the portions are large and the price decent. We’ll be back.

I ordered a meal and asked to add more vegetables which stated $2.00 on the menu. They charged me $4.00 for less than a handful of vegetables but failed to add more the a few of the original vegetables the dish called for. I also added scallops for an additional $5 and was given 3 scallops. My meal ended up being $28 and the container wasn’t even half full. They clearly significantly decreased the normal vegetables and replaced them with the additional ones I ordered while charging $4 more. My bill stated one amount and I was charged an additional $4-5 without my knowledge or consent so watch what they charge you because they add on and don’t tell you. I attempted to call and inquire about the additional charges and was told they charge what they want and hung up on. I will NEVER return to this place who charges more without consent and are extremely rude. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

Excellent little restaurant! Found this on a pass through the town, and it was a welcome surprise. Sushi (which I don’t normally eat) tasted great, the main meal was fantastic, and the waitress was hilarious and a great conversationalist on top of a great host.
If I’m traveling through the area again I’ll definitely stop through. 10/5, made the entire weekend.

If you dont like sushi or dont know if you will like it, this place is a great place to try. They have a tempura chicken roll and its very good.
The tuna avocado roll with spicy mayo is great as well.

We ordered 5 simple raw rolls and shrimp with garlic sauce. We waited 45 minutes for the sushi with the server not saying anything. After the table was cleared, and still no communication, we thought the shrimp was missed by the kid who took our order. After another 15 minutes of thinking we were waiting for our check, the shrimp dish arrived with nothing said. I politely asked them to just box it up because the other 2 people were completely finished and it had been over an hour.
“Is there something wrong?”
“No but everyone is finished and it’s been over an hour.”
When the server originally took our order we told him we were going to order a takeout dish for our son when our food came out. During one of the long waits, I just ordered takeout on my phone at the table and asked for it when paying.
Again, nothing said or offered at all other than “we tried our best.” Even after $90 for 3 people. Plus a $37 takeout order.
There were only 2 other tables with people. Maybe a bunch of takeout orders came in at once, but there was no communication or thought to check on the customer. The kid who took our order just stood at the cash register with ear buds.
Portions were small and very expensive to boot. Takeout rolls had 6 small pieces and no utensils or chopsticks. Hour ride home, guess I’ll have to stop at a gas station for a fork so my son can eat.

The rainbow roll is so small for 13.50. Its the size of my palm. Would not recommend. The fish is paper thin.

They offer an excellent assortment of both Japanese and Chinese foods with prompt service and reasonable prices. This is easily one of the most unique restaurants in the area and is definitely worth a visit.
