Had an amazing experience here! Place is really clean. The food was fresh, and flavorful. Every dish we tried was delicious, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The service by Louie was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome.

Please is nice. Food is ok. BUT SERVICE SUCKS!!!! I was heavily pregnant, around 7-8 months & my friend was taking me out for japanese food. Arrived and the place was still empty. Requested a bigger table instead of the 2 person table in the middle because obviously I was a big round ball. They refused. Later on they got busy and gave the same table to another party of 2. Needless to say they got 0 tip that day & they lost 2 regular patrons that day. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Save your money & go somewhere else!

I found the food to be excellent. I order the same thing each time (chicken teriyaki with rice) and they never disappoint. Plus, staff is always friendly even though I select the “no tip” option on the credit card tablet. I only take the food to go, but I always see a lot of happy faces dining in when I arrive to pick up my order.

I’ve been going here for a while now, I’m happy that they have expanded their menu a bit. The place as you enter is nice and modern looking. I love the display of various sake bottles. We were greeted and seated right away upon entering.
We ordered:
1. Calamari- Crispy and lightly fried. Not overly battered or greasy. Nice way to start our meal.
2. Gyoza – This is one of my usual go-to’s. It’s simple and lightly fried. Perfect size to just pop in your mouth. Something about it just hits the spot.
3. Cold sake – It was a cold and rainy day, but for some reason, it hit the spot. It came in the cutest yet stylish bottle, where the ice to keep it chilled was right in the middle. I’m curious to see if next time they have something a little smoother.
4. Gekikara roll – This had a lot of flavor, and everything just complimented each other perfectly.
5. Tonkatsu bento box – For this one, I ordered the one that came with vegetable tempura and california rolls. Everything was amazing. Portions were perfect. I actually didn’t finish it all and took the rest home.
6. Banana tempura with ice cream – I was a little disappointed with this. I expected the banana to be crispier. It was soggy and greasy. Ice cream was good. We got it with green tea ice cream.
Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back and try the udon and other items. Service wasn’t bad. I totally understand since it was so busy, and only one server. That follow-up wasn’t the best

First timer. Food took a long time to get. About 10 to 15 minutes. Not all dishes came in a timely manner. We had to ask about one dish which we half way done with our meal. Food was worth the wait. Everything was tasty and I think the portions were bigger than other restaurant. Would of been 5 star if food service is faster.

❤️ Super underrated. This is so time zone distance from 3.9 stars. Extremely good menu, unique items (seared ika), sushi that stands out, and $ prices (the unique seared ika at $12). Recommend to eat 2 items at a time because the food pairing that can done here is outstanding. This place and Morimoto in Napa are my favorite Japanese food places. Go.
