Today we visited Tokyo Sushi in Valencia for the first time and were very impressed. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the service was great. But what really stood out to me was the “Shrimp Garlic Tuna Roll” — absolutely incredible (A+++). I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Japanese cuisine.

Went here on a double date and had a great time. Our server recommended a couple sushi rolls that we enjoyed and the service was overall good and quick.

It’s SCV sushi. Which means it’s all pretty much the same thing except you choose the atmosphere. I like the atmosphere here because it is quiet on a lunch break, and when it is packed, you still have the privacy because of the partitions from table to table. I liked how the waitresses knew what we wanted and when we wanted help. There was no shortage of service and it was really nice and romantic. The partitions were beautiful because they had a bunch of fun pictures on them. My overall impression is that it is a great place to go if you want something clean and nice and easy. I would recommend this place for someone who wants to relax and have a nice meal. The tables were kind of small and when they start bringing you food it can be a lot of space taken up with not very much room for anything else. The food itself was pretty clean. It seemed very sanitary and it seemed like they paid a lot of attention to what they were doing.

Tokyo Sushi never misses. The fish is consistently sparkling-fresh, the service fast and genuinely warm, and the crew handles even the busiest nights with a smile. Rolls and sashimi come out looking like tiny works of art—each bite perfectly balanced, no filler flavors, just clean, precise goodness. The rotating roll specials keep things interesting, yet my longtime favorites taste exactly as amazing as the first time I tried them.

Little extras seal the deal: a crisp, ice-cold beer that pairs beautifully with the sushi, and house ice-cream that’s creamy, light, and the perfect sweet finish. If you’re after reliable quality and a team that treats you like a regular from day one, this is the spot.

From the friendly service to the excellent food, this place is just amazing. The sashimi is as fresh as you can get in a restaurant, the sushi tastes great, and the atmosphere rounds out the picture. We went to eat there on two consecutive days, because the experience was that good. Highly recommended!

FOR THE PRICE. The food was good. (But small small) 4 bucks for a single ball of ice cream is pretty out there. And my hand roll was not as full as one would expect.

One of the biggest challenges in moving to the area in Valencia coming from the west side of LA is the lack of choices of great quality restaurants in terms of food and service. I still used to drive to WLA / W Hollywood/ Santa Monica / BH area for my usual go to restaurants, specially more so when it comes to sushi! But, because I wanted to get to know the new neighborhood I am in, I have tried several sushi places, in vain. Then one day, while I was at the next door Pete’s coffee, I saw a sign ( in a banner saying new management, TOKYO sushi, Grand Opening!) And so I did come and try with my son and my daughter-in-law. My gosh! I’m so happy I did! The service is amazing and everyone is very friendly, including the husband and wife owners!
Such a great find for us! It’s also a very quiet place where you can actually bring business partners for meetings and spacious enough if you wanted a private dinner party with no loud ridiculous music! It’s actually very relaxing to go to this place unlike the other places I’ve checked out in Santa Clarita.Their fish is always fresh! Love ordering my always fresh toro sushi / sashimi here, along with their Santa Barbara fresh uni! And if I feel like super hungry , I like ordering their Bento boxes. But if I want to watch my diet, I can go for their poke bowl. They have great sashimi as well and lots of awesome choices of rolls, but they can custom make anything for you as well.
I can’t understand how this place is not as trending as all the other sushi places here in Santa Clarita that are so hyped up! This place serves great quality of fresh fish and the service is impeccable! And oh, they also have a loyalty points incentive that I just discovered also as well!
Do yourself a favor… if you like good quality of food and awesome service with a nice, quiet unassuming ambiance, go and try Tokyo Sushi next to Peet’s Coffee by the Homegoods shopping complex on McBean Parkway!

Parking is ample and easy / plenty!

The food was so good but the portions were INSANE!!!!! usually when people say one portion is for one person you just take it lightly and eat 5 but in this place they MEAN IT! A personal thanks to the chef who cooked our meal but PLEASE make the portions smaller, my stomach hurts.

Service is great. The sushi is fresh, meticulously prepared and delicious. They offer Orion beer which is great. Try this place for yourself as I will run out of space trying to describe all that is great here.

Very interesting concept for a Japanese restaurant, combining “sports bar like” facilities. Food was quite good. AmaEbi was fresh and the shell/head was nicely fried for crispy and crushed finish without over or under cooking. Good service with lady owner personally caring for the patrons as needed. One negative: house (lettuce) salad had quite large amount of water at the bottom of the dish, diluting the tasty dressing toward the later part of the salad. Obviously, the 2nd half of the salad was poor. The preparer needs to do a better job of draining the water after rinsing the as-purchased lettuce for cleanliness. While not quite 5 star worthy, I am giving 5 stars assuming the above salad mistake is corrected.
