If I could give 11 out of 10 stars, I would. Tokyo Sushi isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a spiritual awakening wrapped in seaweed and drizzled with eel sauce.

Very good food, especially for the price. We love to stop there during the winter for a hot sake! We typically do the all you can eat. Love the squid salad, sushimi, dumplings and rolls. Great service and it’s fun to watch them prepare our sushi and rolls. Delicious food and great servers.

Extremely rude service. The Asian female manager at the front desk was very unprofessional and provided terrible service. The food was awful. Do NOT come here to eat.
What’s even worse is that this restaurant is racially discriminatory. If you are white, you will be treated normally and feel safe. However, customers of other ethnic backgrounds are forced to pay a mandatory 15% service fee if the group has more than five people.
Despite the poor service, the female server still demanded a tip, which is completely unacceptable. If you have five or more people, I strongly suggest splitting into two tables to avoid being forced to pay this service fee.

Me and my wife have been here over 100 times. Valentine’s Day, our anniversary and our birthdays. Never ever a disappointment. The vibe is really chill and cozy, causal or dressy. Our favorite server is Judy. She is the best!! All staff are very nice. It does get busy on major holidays but they always keep up. Hands down the best for sushi all you can eat option. Go check it out!

The server was horrible, kept getting orders wrong and took forever to bring out food. I understand that they could be busy with side tasks, but we weren’t properly taken care of.
By the time we finished a dish, we waited at least another 7-10 minutes for another to come out, and by that time, we were already full because of the wait.

The staff was friendly and service was very quick. We did the all you can eat sushi, and the staff would always be there to ask if we wanted to put in more orders. Food was good and fresh. Great variety to choose from. I highly recommend ordering things sashimi style so you don’t get bogged down with all the rice and can enjoy more stuff.

I have been patronizing the Tokyo in maplewood for years. When a froend came to town i found this one for us to get our fill! Same great food and service. Quite popular from what I can tell, as most of the tables were filled and we had a very short wait.
