Ordered lunch online and went to pick it up and nobody was there. The “open” sign was flashing and the lights on, but no signs of anyone. They called me over an hour later and said they were “late getting there” and asked if I still wanted my lunch. By that time, I had gone somewhere else so they said they would cancel the charge. Two days later my account was charged anyway, and I had to dispute it with the card company. If the food is even decent I’ll never know because apparently they don’t serve food there. I’m being forced to give them 1 star because 0 isn’t an option.

wouldnt give me a refund when the item i ordered was out of stock and they made me get a different sushi roll. it was good though lol. i waited a very long time for my order after they said it was ready but all three of my rolls were delicious and i found the seaside decorations in the restaurant very beautiful and comforting.

Picked up carry out here recently. Had the best green roll I had ever had! The owner made everything himself. Portions were above expectation and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The sushi is amazing! We got the crunch crunch and salmon on fire rolls and they were the best sushi we’ve had yet! The salmon alone was the best salmon I’ve ever had, very rich and flavorful. And the owner Chris is super friendly and nice! He was working really hard by himself and still got us quality food fast. And a good amount for a good price! I hope we can come back soon 🙂

Sad, but there must be family dynamics and tenant-landlord issues underlying this fiasco. I feel compelled to post, as this place needs to close before someone gets really ill. Went in to order carryout dinner early Fall 2023. Finally convinced my elderly mother to let us order from a sushi restaurant and this is the only one in the area. Always concerned about freshness with sushi. First red flag when we arrived–entry door was propped wide open and it was 85 degrees inside. Went in and did not see anyone at first–no other guests. After a couple minutes, owner/chef/server/cashier emerged from the kitchen and said A/C was out and we could not eat in, but he was doing takeout (he should have just closed and turned off his sign). Apparently landlord is supposed to fix A/C. We debated leaving right then, but wait times were long other places (not sushi) nearby, so we went ahead and ordered spicy tuna rolls, California rolls and chicken teriyaki. Waited in restaurant for the food. No other guests came in. One order phoned in. After 25 min wait, he had our order ready. Took it home. Rolls were okay. Chicken teriyaki was just chicken and rice, almost no vegetables, but edible (a microwave meal would have been better). Needless to say, we WILL NEVER be back. This needs to close and I am certain would have multiple violations if inspected by health dept. I don’t know if owner should move to a better landlord or just not be in the restaurant business.
