This was my first time ordering at this sushi restaurant. We like to support local small businesses and so we decided to try them. We were excited to try this new place and the menu sounded appetizing. However, the food was HORRIBLE! By far the worse sushi we have ever eaten. All the tempora rolls barely had any shrimp and were saturated in old burned frying oil. The tuna avocado salad had 2 small pieces of tuna. The rolls were all tasteless and looked the same. The only way I could describe what the inside of the rules look like is canned cat food! I would not even feed this to my dog! I do not recommend this restaurant at all. Not worth $136 of my hard working money. Threw out 3/4 of my food!! If you want gross food then this is your place!

Fresh sushi & salads! I appreciate that they don’t pile the rice on for the rolls! Fast delivery for lunch on a weekday. Very casual place, great for your sushi delivery fix, but I wouldn’t dine in. Friendly persons on the phone & for delivery. FYI they have their own delivery staff so you don’t need to use UberEats, etc.

this place has horrible service. Not friendly towards kids at all. We walked in and sat in our seats and waited a good 10 min before i had to personally ask for menus, while we were the only ones at the restaurant! While taking the order, the waitress was rolling her eyes and very rude in taking our order. she was yawning and basically not pleased to have our service. I even asked if there was a problem? and with no apology she said ill come back if u guys dont know what drinka to get. I mean again where are you rushing to go off too? again while we were only ones at rest. i dont recommend this place at all. the are so rude!!!

I’ve been coming here quite a bit and am satisfied for a regular Japanese meal. The Bento boxes are quite filling and the seafood is always fresh. Favorites: Unagi (eel) dishes, Tuna belly and Mackerel sushi. The manager is very pleasant but the waiters should smile once in a while. They all look so serious, sometimes you’d think there was something wrong! Also a good location so one can walk around town after a hearty meal.

I’m a Manhattan native who dines in some in some of the best of the best sushi and Omekase establishments; but Glen Cove’s Tokyo Sushi’s Love Boat is one of the best sushi moments of my dining experiences. Some of the most humble abodes are the greatest!! You’re welcome.

4-1/2 STARS!!! We’ve been coming to Tokyo Sushi for a a bit more than a year, on at least a weekly basis & have never been disappointed. 1st & foremost, they will not serve anything other than the freshest fish. Truly excellent each and every time.
2 of the owners, Steve, who is also 1 of the Sushi Chefs, & Cherish, who acts as Hostess & also a server both aim to seriously please. They remember you & make very on point suggestions as well as will accommodate anything you request. While I lean toward the sashimi offerings my husband enjoys many of their cooked entrées & appetizers.
Plenty of nearby parking & during the warmer months, there’s outdoor seating along w/being able to enjoy live music on Fri. Summer evenings & the car shows on alternating Thurs evenings.
Would be good if they updated decor & then they’d definitely get 5 *stars from us! Highly recommended!!
