They charged me an extra $4.00 say the price of meat had gone up but there wasn’t that much meat on the plate. I asked for extra spicy and got extra salty. There was only 3 shrimp and 3 small scallops and 6 pieces of meat. That alone isn’t worth the $16.95 asking price let alone the extra $4.00 i was charged. This meal wasn’t worth the $20.00 I paid for it. The serving size was very small for a $20.00 meal. I would avoid this place like the plague!

This place is a gem in a small town. It’s so nice in the land of bbq and burger joints to have a choice of something totally different!
We have been coming here for a year now and have some dedicated favorites!
Their egg rolls are hands down the best in the county! Pork is our favorite but they also have chicken, shrimp and I believe they started serving cheese steak egg rolls!
Love their dumplings and the fact that they offer hibachi kids meals but also chicken tenders and fries. It allows me to bring my kid in for something I want for lunch while still satisfying their not so adventurous pallettes! They also have tons of a la carte options ranging from sides of noodles to veggies.
We have loved everything about this place from the food to the service. Every single menu item we have tried from the steak hibachi to the shrimp noodle bowl to the kids meals has been awesome!

We forgot to take pictures before but the food and service was outstanding! We ordered pork egg rolls, chicken potstickers, chicken hibachi & shrimp & chicken hibachi. It was excellent!!! We will def be back.

Woman was nice at least so gave it a two, but I waited for so long to get overpriced and overcooked terrible food. I had to cover the food in my own spices to even manage to get it down because I hate wasting food and money. It’s also it a horrible spot to get in and out of there’s no parking nearby. They need to get a different location and learn to cook better and it’d be great.

I’ve been ordering food here for years. Ms. Donna does her best to make sure my order is right and has always gone above and beyond. My food is always hot and flavorful. No complaints. As far as the wait and prices go, when governments cater to those who choose not to work, the effects are felt elsewhere. That’s not Tokyo Sunrise’ fault.

Nasty rude lady white grey hair was yelling and being belligerent. I was told I only had to wait for 15 min and I did not receive my food until another 35 min later. There were two people who ordered there food after me and still left before me. I went to the counter after 15 min and she said did I need anything and I told her I was see if my food was ready she said not its not you can sit down and I will yell when its ready. Another 20 min by dad came in because we had to be somewhere and asked for a refund she sand NOO I WILL NOT GIVE YOU A REFUND, TAKE THE FOOD. She followed back on her word and said it was 20-25 min when my dad came in but she said 15min originally. Worst restaurant experience ever save you money and your time!!

Very welcoming dining area with small lounge and TV. Service was friendly and are as expedient as possible with they service. I had the steak & chicken noodle hibachi. Steak was absolutely delicious, chicken was nice and tender, vegetables were delicious, however the noodles were a bit odd. It’s not the usual flavor of noodles I’m used. There’s definitely nothing wrong with the noodles they use but I’m picky. If you’re like me just for the rice hibachi like normal people lol

I love the food here but sometimes it takes awhile for them to make your order. I find it best to call in and give them 10 minutes more time than they say it will take to have your food ready. I have never dined in, I always get my food to go. The food is delicious tho lol.

The veggies and rice with white sauce was really good! The chicken was a bit dry and not very flavorful. The service was FAST and friendly! Overall it was decent. It was good for something in Kenansville!

The food wasn’t bad but the service was, almost comically. The lady who took our order was having a bad day, week, month, or life. I couldn’t tell which but she certainly took it out on me and mostly my coworker. She was curt upon ordering, seemed upset when she bought our food out, and when my coworker mentioned that she wanted some vegetables she pointed at get chicken bowl and yelled at her, “that’s what you ordered!” (A particular slap in the face since she rushed us to order in the first place). She spun around and left before even asking if my coworker wanted to order a side of veggies, which she did. I won’t go back there and I hope that lady finds some peace from whatever it is that had her so grumpy.
