With so many options in this parking lot, it sure is hard to pick a place to eat. Tokyo Ramen was our choice of the day.

The place was mostly empty for Friday lunch but the food still took a while to reach our table. It looked like they had several pick up orders to complete first – no problem!

I ordered the tonkatsu ramen which came with only one half of an egg, but three slices of traditional charred pork. The pork was nice and tender, so it wasn’t too difficult to tear off separate bites. The broth was pretty good, and surprisingly not super salty (yay)! I wish the egg had a bit more flavor to it, but it was cooked well. All in all, a good choice for tonkatsu ramen!

My husband got the gyudon bowl with rice. The meat was absolutely delicious, but the portion seemed small, especially compared to the giant bowl of ramen.

Also, I remember multiple types of ramen were not available off the menu that day. Like 4 or so were marked as not available (like miso ramen). So, I’m glad the familiar tonkatsu was still available as I wasn’t up for a seafood or curry ramen.

The fried calamari had this odd after taste to the point I couldn’t finish after 2 pieces. The chicken fried rice tho I highly enjoyed since the chicken was soft and the rice was so light. The ramen was why too salty for my taste , I like to add salt but it was too much and wasn’t able to finish it

Not bad. Tonkatsu ramen was good. Takoyaki was legit. Chicken wings wasnt good. I pointed out to them they should cook them longer. Obviously I won’t order chicken wings there again. My server was friendly but the person in charge didn’t even apologize or let alone take the wings off my bill. I literally had 2 wings and didn’t bother with the rest because they wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Other then that food was good. Pleasant environment. I’d come back again… Maybe haha

We will start off by saying we googled for best ramen places. I never ordered one. My teenage son did. It did come in a huge bowl. He wasn’t a huge fan. The Japanese buns with pork inside was good. It had a small slice of pork belly inside some green onions and sauce, The pork egg roll was delicious! My teenage son said his Japanese bun with spicy chicken was delicious but it was more batter than chicken. His 3 milk tea boba was very worth it! My Japanese beer (from Canada) was refreshing. Overall I can’t tell you about the ramen because I myself didn’t have any. My teenage son said the broth could have used more seasoning or flavor. He does know how to cook and has a great palette. (So I do value his opinion). Customer service was off I guess because maybe the language. She was there handling the front all by herself so maybe she was focused on the four tables she was serving. We did go for a later lunch. We wouldn’t go again but will try other places to find which one will be the best for ramen!

It’s my little foodies’ first time here.
I ordered the following:

1. Tonkatsu with udon noodles – Udon noodles are on the chewier side compared to all our udon eating experiences. Broth isn’t creamy as Kabuto. Little Miss likes the Tonkatsu Udon. It’s just too chewy for my little man and me. The little man could only enjoy the egg in the noodle soup.

2. Tokyo buns – As for the so called “tender” pork chasu in the bun, the meat is on the salty side for us three and it is very dry and overcooked, almost dry for shredded jerky texture. Definitely not a kid-friendly appetizer for my little foodies. Pork chasu is also too tough and chewy for me to enjoy. Unless it’s jerky, tough, chewy, overcooked meat is just simply trashy meat for us three.

Note:
Restrooms are in working function but very dusty and rusty.
Customer service is okay.

We went here for the ramen, but ordered everything else. That being said it was all great. The variety of the food they had there was wonderful. Everything came out fresh and hot. The buns were cloud ☁️ like soft. The pork inside them is tender. The soba noodles with chicken were so flavorful. The portions were good. I would go back to try the ramen and order everything else again.

The ramen was bland. I got the spicy chicken ramen and there was just a faint chicken flavor. The shrimp shumai was almost $9 for six of the premade frozen ones you can buy at the store.

My friend ordered the shrimp tempura and it is just the American style, deep fried shrimp and again didn’t have any flavor.

Also the workers were just arguing the whole time and it wasn’t pleasant to eat around.

I won’t be coming again

Ordered via UberEats. My wife liked it a lot, particularly the bao and the Unagi Don. The Tonkotsu ramen was okay; heavy and a bit on the salty side, but not bad. Got the Gyu Don and the Oyakodon. Both were okay; I thought both were too salty.

On a recent order I got the poke bowl. It didn’t have the tobiko I ordered, and had a piece of bad salmon in it. Bringing it down a star for that.

This place is such a hole in the wall but is always so delicious! The plates are stacked to the brim and make you feel like you’ll explode once you’re done because you’re so full! The staff is so kind and takes the time with you. I got the rose lychee lemonade, Tokyo buns and karate chicken soba which came up to $27.53. Then my best friend got the Thai milk tea, takoyaki and tonkotsu ramen which came up to $27.58. For the amount of food we received this is well deserved with the pricing.

This spot is horrible! very bad attention, I also asked for a poke and found a dead cockroach inside. I told the waitress, she apologized but the manager didn’t care and they wanted us to pay for all the dishes even though no one wanted to continue eating because of the cockroach. Do not go!!!
