A little run down, but very true to the traditional Tokyo Hotpot Restaurant. I was seated promptly after I walked in ( even though it was the dinner rush). The tables were a bit beat up and needed a new coat of paint, but everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I ordered the small prime rib plate and got quite a fill of food for under $25, including tip. It included all the soup you can eat, a vegetable plate ( cabbage, carrots, mushrooms, noodles, and tofu), plus a decently sized plate of thin cut prime rib. It also included unlimited condiments at no extra cost. I was ignored by the waitress once after calling her several times, but I’ll just attribute that to it being a busy restaurant during the dinner rush. The only comment I have is they don’t give you a takeout container to bring home your soup broth when you’re done. I paid for it, and they can’t reuse it. They may as well let me take it home instead of pooring it out. But they just give you a little Styrofoam clam shell container to bring home your leftover meat and veggies in. In short: good experience, great tasting food, but just ok service and atmosphere.

This place is incredible! My boyfriend and I loved it so much. It’s pricey but for what you get I don’t think it’s overpriced. The food is great. We had a wonderful server who told us exactly how to prepare our meal. I will say if you’re not one who tries new things at all, this isn’t for you. My boyfriend and I love trying new things so we did and it was well worth it and we plan on going again sometime. I think this place is underrated in Stillwater but we were very pleased with our whole experience. I had lamb and Ty had steak. The sides were strange food and eating transparent pasta was weird but it’s all part of the experience. The cake was amazing too.

Terrible experience here. The first time me and my girlfriend came here It was great food and service was pretty good but we have since tried to come twice in the last 2 weeks and they have been closed and by their voicemail for different reasons each time. Seems like they are never open anymore and would not recommend even trying to come here

Drove in specifically for Tokyo pot after recommendations. Restaurant is only open from 530 to 830 according to their site, but it wasn’t crowded so getting in wasn’t an issue. The service was nice and the atmosphere is cozy and clean. The food was excellent, the lamb and prime ribeye were cut expertly and were so tender they almost fell apart even before you cooked them in your broth of choice. The meat melted in your mouth and the broth and dipping sauces added to the meat flavor as well as the egg you dipped it in. The veggies were fresh and soaked up the flavor just the way they were meant to adding a different flavor and texture but still feeling connected to the rest of the meal. All in all this is an absolute do again and a hard earned 5 stars.

Wow! What an adventure for your taste buds and more! The atmosphere was genuine and friendly! Our waiter was fast, friendly, and very helpful. The food was delicious. The ribeye was most savory and the fish was spectacular. Definitely recommend the ribeye. I love to eat and this place filled me up! A rather hard thing for most places to do. Make sure to call ahead and reserve a table and enjoy all your food to the fullest!
