We had the most amazing time. We came for our son’s 7th birthday. The bartender Max was 10/10 while we waited for our table. Our chef was amazing and truly made my son’s night amazing. He was impressed and our party of 13 was pleased with the entire night. I truly can’t thank this restaurant enough for tonight!

I pulled up here for the steak and lobster hibachi and it did not disappoint. Everything came out hot, tender, and full of flavor. The lobster was cooked just right and the steak was on point. Portions were legit and the prices weren’t crazy either, which is rare these days. The chef had jokes, the vibe was fun, and the whole experience hit the spot. If you want hibachi that actually delivers, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse is a solid move.

Great place to eat. Quality food for the teppan hibachi food, amazing bartender. Max was our bartender and he always has a story and strives to impress anybody that goes to him. Our server Jennifer was incredible and very attentive and on top of her game. Definitely worth going to, better than benihana or any other place you have been to.

Went here tonight for a birthday party for my husband and a friend of ours. The place was about empty. We have never seen it like that on a weekend before, and maybe all the roach reviews are why. I wish I would have read them before going back. We have been coming here for years, but this is the first time something was wrong with any of our plates. A friend of ours got steak and as soon as she was served it, you could smell a bad smell, smelled like feet! She tasted it and it was not good either. The waitress took it to her manager and they only gave her $10.00 off! We had a good run here but we won’t be back. We didn’t see any roaches but these reviews make me feel sick. I also think her whole dinner should have been paid for. Service was good, but like I said there were not many tables to compete with.

Came here after many suggestions from a local food group, my expectations were high since everyone raves about this restaurant. I was disappointed the food was not good at all, very bland and not authentic the rice had a weird aftertaste, the chicken as well, the noodles were dry and tasteless the only edible thing on my to go order was the steak and even that was dry, oh and salad was okay. It was 30$ all together and it was not worth the 40 min wait. Staff was friendly, but most likely will not come back.

I had reservations made 1 week ahead of for 11 people. When we got to the restaurant we received our number, they called our number told us to wait a minute, left is standing there. We waited about 10 minutes,at which time I ask the lady standing at the checkin and she went absolutely berserk told me the others had reservations and had to be seated first. When I explained to her I had reservations at 4, she grabbed the menu and acted like a crazy person, stating there was no help but she would seat us, stomping back to the table. Arigato looking much better after this, but I do intend to call the manager and let them know how customers that spent ,600.00 were treated.

the drinks here for teenagers or kids are insanely good. Max has a notebook full of drinks for the kids and he’s also really fun to have a conversation with, you can even take pictures of the recipe for them, i recommend going.

We prefer to come to Tokyo over any other Japanese restaurant around. The bartender Max is super knowledgeable and can make anything you ask. We highly enjoy coming here each and every time!
