This is a neat little places for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries on the hibachi side. We used to eat here multiple times a week and then our chef who also became a good friend moved away. We had not been going as much because we would normally only eat on the hibachi side. Recently we tried the sushi and I must say we were super impressed. They even have sushi chef special which you can get a deal on 2 or 3 sushi rolls. Our favorites are the pink panther roll, and the pink Lady roll.

Always a good plate of food here, table service is good and bad, but the food is always on point.

Great food and staff food was great. 3 of us ordered filet Hibachi and 1 chicken. Chef did a good job entertaining and good our steak to the right temperature.

Only room for improvement would be to cook the food so things arrive at a better pace the vegetables finished when I was basically done with the meal. But overall they did a great job we would return.

Its was entertaining and the food was good…a little pricey but then again they didn’t skimp on the amount they gave you.

Their food used to be excellent. The last 3 times that we’ve eaten there or ordered from home, it was terrible. We enjoyed their food so much in the past, that the first AND second time the food wasn’t good, we thought maybe that chef wasn’t for us or everyone has an off day from time to time. In fairness, I am referencing hibachi. I’ve always loved their sushi, but haven’t had it in sometime. After tonight’s order, we’ll no longer be dining in or ordering and that stinks.

They automatically tried to sit us on the non-hibachi side, so make sure you specify up front if you want to go to the hibachi side. Our food was good and the serving sizes were HUGE! The waitress was really really miserable. I don’t know if she was tired or angry at management or what, but she sat us, took our order, and didn’t return until she brought us boxes without any other words. I saw her ask 2 other tables if they needed anything multiple times. She wasn’t very cheerful to them either, but she completely ignored us. We had to just walk to the hostess to ask if we could pay up front because we didn’t have our ticket and didn’t expect to see our waitress anytime soon.
Our hibachi chef was wayyyyyy lower energy than the others. I’m not talking about just a little. The other chefs were singing and doing tricks and engaging with their tables. Ours barely spoke at all and when he did it was super quiet. 2 of the eggs he cracked landed shells in our food. Also, it was strange to me that all the chefs cooked each food separately and 1 at a time, so you got your rice 10 minutes before your meat. Other hibachis I’ve gone to cook it all at the same time in separate piles so that all the elements of your meal are ready at the same time.
I understand it’s a small town, so it really was a decent meal at a decent ish price considering that. If you’re a local it’s probably worth it to shake up the routine, but as a tourist it was disappointing.

The one star is a gift. I ordered over 50$ woth of Coconut Shrimp and Calamari. I had to spit the coconut shrimp out. I’m not one that usually complaints or does revi
Iews. But, goodness gracious. It is awful!
I just threw over 50$ worth of food from there in the trash.
They offered compensate. Not interested.
I just want to tell people to not go there

I’m sorry to leave a negative review because I used to really love this place, but it seems like it’s on its way out. We were served cold soup twice (after being served the wrong soup), they got my husband’s order completely wrong even after the waitress double checked what he wanted, and the place was nearly empty at dinner time on a Friday night. It seemed like they just weren’t making an effort, like they seriously couldn’t just pop the soup in the microwave after being told it was cold the first time? We ended up leaving without eating. Lately we’ve noticed that the upkeep doesn’t seem to be as good (napkins and crumbs left on the floor when they are not busy, and the building looks like it needs some work done). It seems like the staff has given up. You can see where they are trying to cut costs, shortening the menu, not giving wasabi with the sushi (you have to ask for wasabi now). I would love to see this place make a comeback, but I feel like it won’t last much longer.
