Our visit to Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse was fantastic! The hibachi was absolutely awesome—our chef was not only skilled but also incredibly personable. He kept us engaged the entire time, making the experience both entertaining and enjoyable.
The food was delicious, and the Shakalaka Roll is definitely a must-try! The flavors were amazing, and it was the perfect addition to our meal.

Food was amazing, and our cook was even more amazing, she really flipped the experience around for us. It’s a little pricey, but the taste and quality of the food made it worth it. We did have to wait awhile, we were part of a big party and even though we reserved a room about 1 month in advance, they still double booked us, so we not only have to wait a long time, but we didn’t even get the room we reserved. The man at the bar was a little moody, seemed to be tired of the crowd, but the drinks were at least good. In conclusion, I highly recommend this place for the food, not the overall experience.

Did not enjoy it. Ichiban japanese is so much better tasting than this place. Didn’t receive my steamed rice until I had finished eating some of the food. Chicken was undercooked and tasted bad. I advised the person with me not to eat it! Fried rice is 3.75 more added to your meal price and if you ask for additional fried rice it’s and extra 5.35 on top of the 3.75. Cook performance was very good but the meal wasn’t. Dressing for salad comes out in a plastic single serving which was odd no chopsticks were offered. I will not be returning to this place to eat!

Make sure you don’t come too hungry as this place can be a little pricey. However, the food is very good. Our hibachi chef put to much soy sauce in the rice so it was salty but he did great job with the rest of the meal, especially the steak. We didn’t get sushi this time but it’s been really good in the past when I’ve dined there. Drinks were great too. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, this is a good choice but I couldn’t do this every week.

I have enjoyed my experience here twice now. Their customer service is spot on! Our server offered to get our soup/salad order before we chose what to eat since she knew we were starving and our meals came with soup/salad anyway. All the food was served very quickly. Our go to for family dinner and any occasion. Love the chefs, they are always super entertaining, and make dinner fun. The ginger dressing on the salad is soooooo good! Every hibachi dish I’ve ever ordered has been top notch. Large portions are also a plus!

There were five of us dining, and the wait to be seated was only slightly less frustrating than the wait to be even acknowledged once we were at our table. Eventually a nice server came over to get our drinks and take our orders. Then a hibachi chef arrived and began to cook. The food was delicious all around, the conversation was a little awkward, and the entire experience gets a moderate meh.

My best friend wanted to go here for sushi on her birthday and I’m so glad she did! Wonderful customer service and delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere. We’ve been back once a week almost every week since. It’s outstanding.
