Wonderful Place to eat! quiet atmosphere. Decent portions for the price. Wonderful food! Appropriate for all ages and food tastes. Husband has the bento box and enjoyed it. Five year old loved the udon soup and the sushi is fresh and tasty. Staff are helpful and prompt. Bathrooms clean.

Our waiter was extremely nice and quick to take our order. The food was very delicious! We ordered the crab tempura, fried gyoza, rainbow maki roll, and Godzilla roll. It was all very tasty! The crab tempura came with fried carrots, broccoli, and zucchini and it was all so crunchy and good. The fried gyoza was also crunchy and savory. The rainbow maki roll had a great texture that I really loved, and the Godzilla roll is always AMAZING.

When this place first opened the service was great, food delicious and prices reasonable but now it’s the other way around.
Service is horrible and I think they make their children work many times. The food is mediocre at best. I mean. Sam’s club has as good if not better sushi, and the prices? Just because it looks semi fancy doesn’t mean you need to charge an arm and a leg. There’s a reason the owners are both driving $150k vehicles. Outrageous but I thank them because I have learned to make my own sushi and many Asian quizines. I went for lunch and it was $20-30. Per plate unless I had the small veggie option. Ridiculous! 2 huge thumbs down!

At best, all I could say is that the food was mediocre. It’s not great, but it’s definitely not horrible either. The salmon was paper thin and a bit on the dry side. The sushi was on the same level, just alright.

Fantastic sushi place! Had the Godzilla and Vermillion rolls. They were both delicious! Also had the bubble tea, which was a brown sugar flavour with popping boba, also very good. Highly recommend this place. They were busy, so I waited about 20 minutes after ordering to get my food, but with it being prepared fresh, I was ok with the wait.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish! I ordered the pork bento box, and every single bite was incredible, tender, flavorful pork, perfectly seasoned rice, fresh sides, and a comforting miso soup that warmed my soul. The milk tea was rich, smooth, and just the right amount of sweet, pure perfection.
My boyfriend had the fried rice and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was, each grain had amazing flavor, and it was cooked to absolute perfection.
The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, and the service was just as amazing, kind, attentive, and welcoming. You can feel the care and love in both the food and the space.
If you’re looking for truly authentic, flawless cuisine, this is the place. We’ll definitely be coming back. A new favorite!

Overall, a great experience! The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed seeing it being a family business! The restaurant seemed clean and great atmosphere! We came with 5 adults and a 1 year old, and the food was prompt and they were accompanying for the baby trying to eat rice! We shared a variety of rolls and appetizers- from sweet potato tempura, gyoza, teriyaki steak, fried volcano roll, fried Godzilla roll, raw rainbow roll, Sioux Falls roll, and the green dragon! All great!

I grew up in Yankton, and have not been here in a while. Still some old familiar places and ALOT of new corporate fast food places. I stopped in for a light, healthy lunch.
I enjoyed their lunch chicken udon noodle soup. Flavorful broth, fresh vegetables, steaming goodness. Yankton is lucky to have this place, I’d visit it often if it was in my home town.

Great Japanese food in Yankton, SD? Absolutely! I ordered the pork katsu bento box and everything in it was great. Also ordered their red dragon roll. It was amazing. Service was excellent.
