Very fresh sushi made to order served here at Tokyo House Restaurant. They feature traditional rolls as well as some house designed rolls as well. Service is friendly and we look forward to returning for some of their other options. Parking lot is shared and can get busy.

I ordered the Chef Choice and he did a stunning job!! I LOVE sushi but since randomly getting an allergy to egg yolk, it’s been difficult to order sushi because mayo is in a lot. I risk getting exposed. But since the chef made my roll fresh, to order, I was able to request no mayo and trust my roll would be safe to eat. I trusted chef to pick what to make and he out did himself. I am definitely a regular now!! Can’t wait to come back.

Fantastic sushi!! High quality and the freshest fish! I asked the chef to make me whatever he wanted and he presented us with this gorgeous roll that had some exceptional sauce on top with salmon and such Umami!!
Also can’t go wrong with their other dishes but their sushi is exceptional!
Been here several times and there are consistent

Absolutely love this place… the sushi was spot on and cut to perfection, met the owner Jae, who is also the sushi chef and he’s just great. Very humble and connects with the people of this town. It’s not a huge restaurant chain , it’s a nice little hidden gem in our growing town…employees respect him and seem to love their jobs.

Amazing!!!!! Hands down the best sushi we have ever had. Not only is the sushi incredible, the fish the freshest you’ve ever had but the chef is a wizard behind the bar. To sit and pick his brain with all of his experience, watch him craft his rolls, making the sauces from scratch; it was the greatest overall experience we have ever had at a sushi establishment. There’s history, love and passion behind this restaurant that you can clearly see upon entering and throughout the dining experience.

What a disheartening experience and a true example of the deterioration of a once respectable business that I am truly ashamed to have brought in no doubt thousands of dollars of business as well misleading friends and loved ones to believe this was a business that took pride in there quality and service. I am a very easy customer and take no pride in this but it certainly goes without say, you’re better off buying Panda Express and a 14$ 6 pack. Save you and you family over 100$

In my opinion this is the one of the best sushi restaurants north of Clearview.
TIP: The menu is limited but the chef is very talented. I posted pictures of what I have tried so far. I don’t recall ordering much if anything from the menu. I asked for chefs choice and told him I like spicy rolls. If you want the best experience sit at the bar and order the rolls I have listed or ask for the chefs specials.
Jay is the sushi chef he has a interesting history ask him to tell you about it.
The only negative thing I have to say is the second time I was there the table top was sticky. I’m not going too knock points off this as it is still a far better experience than the belt located about a mile from here. Plus I told his crew to clean it and the problem was solved.
Worth a try if you are in the area.
UPDATE: Weekends are busy, Jay is the only chef so if you go during rush hour I suggest you order everything you want all at once. Otherwise you could end up waiting a long time between rolls.

No other sushi is good in snohomish county north of Bellevue except this place. Expect somewhat slow service, it is him and his wife only. Exceptional food and if you sit at the bar or even at a table close they are very friendly. I come here often and love this couple. Great people and awesome service.

The food quality does not the justify the high prices — and holy cow are they high. Buyer beware and look at the menu before going to the restaurant. Food…I ordered a California roll because it said “snow crab.” I clarified that it was real crab and was told “yes.” The roll came and it was crab stick. When I mentioned this to the sushi chef, he said it was “processed crab/kani.” Kani is crab stick. Then I asked for a roll with just eel and avocado. The roll I received was the same California roll with a slab of unagi on top. I sent it back and was told they didn’t make the roll I wanted. I pointed out that they had rice, unagi, avacado, and nori…couldn’t they make the roll I wanted? Uh, no.
Service was fine and the atmosphere is a typical sushi place. However, the whole experience was disappointing and very expensive.

Not my first choice for a sushi restaurant, primarily because their prices are way too high and the dishes don’t warrant them. There are better sushi restaurants available for much more competitive prices. I will the chef high marks on prep though. Kinda located in a depressing strip mall that just seems run down.
