Had the meal and some sushi. Salad dressing had a bite to it but it was good. Steak was cooked as requested. Portions were good. Will order from here again.

I’m always looking for new places to try and today I found THIS place on Google maps. I placed an order over the phone which was the steak (medium well) and shrimp hibachi meal along with the spicy and garlic edmami. The person that took my order was very pleasant. Once I arrived to pick up my order I was greeted by a sweet man whom is the owner and cook. I’d saw where others said they thought he was a 1 man show and if that is the case, he deserves a JOB WELL DONE because the food was good! Everything was hot and fresh! It doesn’t look as if any one dines in but I’d kindly ask that if you live in the area OR wouldn’t mind stopping in, I’m sure he wold greatly appreciate it!

The owner is from Japan and prepares all the food himself. He’s very kind and love to interact with the customers. All the food is absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Some of the largest portions of fried rice I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant. I usually take pictures but was too amazed and devoured the food.

Trust. It looks empty and you might have to wait a few mins for him to go out and greet you but since he’s (I think) the only one in the kitchen, he takes a bit. We were greeted rather easily and he was taking our orders out as they became ready. We ordered the pink lady (9/10), spicy tuna (8.5/10), rainbow (8/10) and the dragon (9/10). They were SO good. Don’t be rude, give him a bit and enjoy your food when you get it! He’s super sweet and we made sure to tell him thank you bc he had a rude customer (looking at you Mr. Nissan Sentra). Go and enjoy!

This is a place where I’d definitely say, ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. When you first walk inside, it is quite, simple and mildly decorated. The owner is an absolute delight. He is very warm, happy, funny and he puts his all into his cooking. The portions were a perfect size and the hibachi flavor was perfectly balanced. The rolls I had were delicious, especially the ones with shrimp tempura. Highly recommend this restaurant for the whole family.

My girlfriend and I had just gotten out of the gym and went here 5 minutes before closing. The guy that seems to be the owner/server/cashier was about to close, yet still stayed after closing hours to cook for us. He was super nice, friendly, and funny.
He didn’t rush us, he cracked jokes, gave us recommendations, and answered all of our questions.
The food was a solid 10/10. Super flavorful, not dry at all, and the portions were also very generous. The price was also great.
We will be definitely coming back here!.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Houston. And the owner/chef was so funny and nice. We are definitely coming back next time we are in town. The spicy garlic edamame and the gyoza were amazing! The shrimp fried rice and all the rolls we got were good too. Thank you!

Tom is great! Friendly and accommodating. We brought in our own wine and had the place to ourselves minus the pickup order people coming and going.
Get the Garlic Edamame!! Best I’ve ever had! We really enjoyed the Pink Lady Roll and the steak hibachi with fried rice.
They are open until midnight which is majorly cool!
