We went to The chicken spot next door and we love them but this time I wanted to switch it up. The fish and chicken are the same price but they wanted to upcharge me for switching chicken for Fish. That was weird to me when they are the same price. Anyways. We decided to come next door to this awesome place and WOW the service and food was AMAZING. I had the Alfredo Sizzling Bowl and it was definitely worth it. Idk what the issue is with the up charge for switching when its the same price. Id understand if if it was a more expensive item but it was the same price. Thanks to both places but that upcharge is crazy to me.

I’ve heard people call this place a hidden gem but honestly it’s costume jewelry at best. I would say the food is mids. I would avoid the appetizers because the appetizers were frozen pre-made (like bought from a restaurant depot) especially avoid the tempura you can see the lines of the tray from it being frozen tempura on the one side of the tempura. This is a place where for the food to be at 3 to 4 you have to eat it there. I’ve taken takeout from the place and unfortunately the boxes don’t have any air holes so if you get a katsu dish it’s going to steam something terrible and not be crispy at all even if you live 4 minutes away. And to be honest the chicken was tough it wasn’t juicy and tender it was chewy (and steamed by 4min ride home). Stick to main dishes and eat them there and this place is like a 3 maybe a 3 1/2. If looking for authentic Japanese avoid, the pixiu dragon screams Mandarin Chinese. 本当に 日本人ではない。

I ordered a takeout vegetarian poke bowl. The vegetables and the tofu are great, but there is no sauce. How can you have a poke bowl without the amazing delicious sauce that ties everything together? I understand poke is traditionally a fish dish, but if you cannot do a vegetarian version that is done well, please just don’t do it. Vegetarians don’t want second-best or a token vegetarian item on the menu. We want something that is crafted with thought and that can stand up to other items on the menu.

I must be ordering the wrong things.

The food is ok, but it’s not great quality and certainly costs more than it should for what it is.

All of the dishes that come with white rice don’t serve quality rice or quality preparedness.

The Katsu dishes (chicken) use low quality chicken that have those weird texture issues that make it stringy and chewy. The katsu sauce was very a very runny liquid and not thick as I expected to be. Heavy on the vinegar side. Didn’t hit the sweet tangy thick sauce you’d expect.

I’ve also had their curry which was okay, but not nearly enough curry, they just load your dish up with low quality white rice.

I’ve come and went 3-4 times now, everytime I don’t get close to finishing my meal, not because there was ‘enough’ food it just really lacks quality.

The apps aren’t homemade, probably pre-frozen and store bought. I had the Gyoza which tasted like something you’d get from costco and 6 gyoza cost over $8 dollars.

Again, low quality food, but restaurant level prices without the gap from quality being met.

Generous portions, delicious flavors, clean, fast and friendly. I have nothing but praise for the food and service at this establishment. Their staff were kind and welcoming and happily answered any questions we had about the options. I had beef tenderloin hibachi and it was divine. Perfectly cooked bites of steak with plenty of meat and absolutely amazing fried rice. The veggies were fresh and paired well also. Shout out to their “yum-yum” sauce it was lovely for dipping! We will be back and soon. All of our dishes were amazing and we had lovely leftovers the next day for good prices. Check this place out you wont regret it.

Delicious food and great service. It is order first and pay. Then sit down and eat style. But it was definitely worth it. I ordered the tofu hibachi and I was so surprised at how flavorful it was. Usually they don’t (as in some places I go to) don’t season the vegetables and the tofu. But the tofu was well seasoned!. Fried rice was delicious. My friend got one of the Poké bowls. And she said it was really good too.

Ordered for husband and asked for side of noodles. Noodles tasted like the oil was never ever cleaned out. It was very off putting. Chicken hibachi had zero flavor, and the rice looked like it was soaked in soy sauce, but he said the veggies were good. He said never again though, so we won’t be back. They need to clean their oil and season their meat.

There’s a dearth of good Asian food on this side of Denver, so I was excited to see this place open.

We started with some gyoza, which were pretty standard, but the sauce was very good, some sort of soy sauce with a mix and a tiny bit of sweet in it.

I got a Beef Tenderloin hibachi, and she got the hibachi shrimp. Both were very delicious! Beef was nice and juicy and very well seasoned. The shrimp was also large and well seasoned, their special sauce also worked great with it.

Veggies were fresh and tasty. I also found out it’s the same owner as Slamming Chicken, next door, so if you’re a fan of that you’ll probably enjoy this too, since both are high quality.

Can’t wait to be back to try the hibachi chicken!

Woah. This place is definitely going to be added to my permanent rotation of food spots. Prices are fantastic, serving sizes are generous, service is amazing, food is out FAST! I’m bummed I hadn’t found this place sooner. I tried the Veggie Hibachi bowl, but added chicken, the gyoza, and the spinach and cheese wontons. The appetizers were so good, I almost forgot to get a photo! They have about 8 different tables to sit at, so plenty of room for a quick dine inside, but the takeout was busy the whole time we were there. Give this place a try!

I’m assuming because I went closer to closing……….It was on 3 shrimp, 7 pieces of chicken, and 6 pieces of beef. The pic of the plate it totally untouched. All of the proteins was bland, the rice was a 1 at best, the yum yum sauce was great, but it could not save the meal. We are going to give them a second chance, at an earlier time. -until next ️
