I ordered over the phone but had never been here. This place looks like an abandoned building when you first drive up. Trash all on the outside, bushes overgrown, grass overgrown… it looks terrible. I should have read the reviews before placing my order. The chicken wings were not cooked well and was flavorless. The crab rangoon was burnt on the ends. The chicken hibachi tasted stale. The steak hibachi was tough to eat. We also had a crunchy crab sushi roll and I didn’t realize they were only going to give me four pieces for a sushi roll. How this business presents itself on the outside tells you all you should know. Definitely will not be back and I don’t recommend.

I used to love the food here because you used to get an insane amount of food for a decent price. Well went the other day and got a third of what I used to for even more than what I used to pay. Granted she gave me a free sweet tea and it was the best tea I’ve had in a long time, it just wasn’t the greatest amount of food for $13. Before for $10 you would get the tray so packed the tray barely fit anything inside. Now the food barely covers the compartments. Not only that but the place is run down. No maintenance or improvements have been done to the place. It’s really rundown. They don’t even seem to be trying to fix the place to make it nice.

The most disgusting fried appetizers ever! I ordered crab ragoon, tempura shrimp and an egg roll. The grease was dripping off of them! They were all so bad I had to throw them out! Yuck! Never again!

First time ordering here. I placed order online and drove over to pick it up. You can only pick up the food in the drive through line. The restaurant doesn’t allow anyone inside for dining or picking up food. The food was warm and order was correct. The vegetable spring roll, shrimp spring roll, and crab rangoon wasn’t as flavorful as I’ve had at other places. The hibachi salmon and shrimp with steamed rice was good.

Compared to other Hibachi meals I’ve tried in Durham (i.e. Sushi love), I have to say this place is far better. For the price, you’re not only getting more, but the quality of the ingredients were also much better (veggies especially). Fried rice was the only thing that was a miss as the rice was a little too dry (and bland) for my taste. Otherwise, I am glad that I got to try this place.

I haven’t been to this place in along time because the prices were high for nasty food. Nothing has changed. I ordered steak and shrimp with all vegetables. The steak was so tuff I could barely chew it, I spit most of it out every time I bit one. The shrimp were over cooked too. The food had no flavor at all and it set in a lot of juice that did the food no justice. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

From the outside you might be a little worried about what your getting yourself into but don’t! It’s seriously mine and my husband’s favorite hibachi in the Triangle! Highly recommend getting the hibachi chicken. They are also really quick and friendly!
