I eat here just about 3-4 times per week. The kids menu has been my go to & is definitely portioned well enough for lunch. The drive thru is quick , you can’t beat it ! 10/10

I have been going to Tokyo express in Greenville for roughly a year at this point. Every time I swing through the service is impeccable and the food is always 10/10. I always have conversations with either miss Brooke or miss Tiffany and they’re always in great moods and take good care of me. By far the best hibachi spot in Greenville!

I have a lot of food allergies and dietary restrictions, and Tokyo express is one of the few places I can eat. They have always been amazing about accommodating to my needs and getting my order right, they’ve never given me the wrong food or messed up an order. This food is the only place in Greenville that doesn’t make me sick. I go often enough that they have my order memorized and know me by name. An amazing place and amazing workers!

I walked into the restaurant today and waited about 10 minutes for my order to be taken. When a young woman named Tiffany finally approached me, she did so with an attitude, made no eye contact, and spoke to me sideways. At that point, I decided to leave and eat elsewhere where I would be approached respectfully. I wish people would not sign up for jobs they are unwilling or unable to perform professionally.

Food was prepared fresh for us which I enjoyed! We had a short wait as the restaurant was empty. Our server/cashier was very pleasant and accommodating, however, there were only 2 employees in the establishment (one of them mentioned closing early due to lack of staff), our cashier/server who was running the entire front of house and one cook in the back, but they were getting it done! The prices were good for the portion size, and the FIRECRACKER SHRIMP were AMAZING! I’d visit again and hope others may too to build more business for them.

Fried rice was made in the most basic way, steam rice that was put in the pan and stirred a couple times. Sesame chicken was fine, didn’t cut the tails off the firecracker shrimp, firecracker chicken was fine. When I got there the lady in the front was talking on speaker to her friend, but bless her heart she was alone in the front handling online, door dash, and regular orders. This is the best service I have gotten within the past 2 years!! I just had to get up here and say this because literally just had a bad experience at the McDonald’s across the street, and to come here to Tokoyo Express and get the white glove experience has made my night. From the time I pulled up to the window to the time I left it was a great experience. The manager at the window was stellar! My 10 year old even said “Oh she’s so nice, I like her!” My daughter felt the need to say this because we get bad customer service all the time! I work in customer service so when I see an employee exuding it in spades, I let them know that they are STELLAR!! Because it is rare and hard to come by in this day in time!! I wish I could bottle the manager up and take her with me 🙂 She is such a wonderful person! The rest of the staff is great too, I like what you guys are doing! I will be back!
