Whenever we’re in town, we like to stop at Tokyo. We have never left disappointed. It can get a bit busy at times. It’s best to try to get in there as soon as they open especially on Sunday. The staff is very friendly and keep the place clean. The hibachi grill has a great menu to choose from. The Sushi Bar has a wonderful selection. this is an all-around good buffet.

From the moment I walked in, I had a feeling this place was going to be good. The dining room had a steady crowd for a weeknight, which is usually a great sign—and it definitely lived up to the hype.
I decided to go with the buffet so I could try a little bit of everything. I started with some fried rice, chow mein, and a crispy egg roll, then went back for a second plate to sample more dishes. Every item I tried was hot, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The flavors were on point across the board, and nothing tasted like it had been sitting out too long. It’s rare to find a buffet where everything is consistently good, but this place nailed it.
The service made the experience even better. Terrence was attentive without being overbearing, quick with refills, and happy to answer questions about the different options. He kept things running smoothly and made us feel genuinely welcome.
Overall, this was an outstanding dining experience. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be coming back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a reliable, delicious meal. 10/10.

Amazing variety of food, decent seafood selection, especially for shrimp lovers. The hibachi was nice, the sushi was good, and they had 5 different ice cream flavors to choose from after your meal. The price is what you would expect at a buffet. Salad bar and soup to start, plenty of fruit and veggies to choose. And everything in between. Staff is friendly and the rest rooms were nice and smelled good. All in all, we found a new spot to go for buffet!

This restaurant is amazing. I came here after school, and it was a little bit busy, but I can now see why. The food was, quite frankly, ELITE. Obviously I had to get the buffet, but after I finished my rice, eggrorr, and chow mein, I went and got some of the other stuff. Everything I had was cooked very well, warm, fresh, and most importantly, delicious. My server, Terrence, was incredibly kind, informative, and efficient. I will be coming back to this restaurant in the future, and to anyone wondering where to go for food, I would recommend this 10 times out of 10.

I’ve been going there at least once a week for 3 years now! Never disappointed! The food is beautiful! The service is spot on! The waitstaff is so friendly and quick to accommodate! The owners are the best! Sonny, the mother of the family who owns it is one of the kindest people in the universe! She always makes sure I’m well fed and taken care of! I tell everybody about this place! I’m calling it the go to for good Chinese food in Wyoming/Grand Rapids, MI! I’m only sorry it took me this long to write a review!

The food here is consistently good, though their menu does not change, they offer a wide selection including some sushi and create your own hitbachi bowls. It is clean and the staff is always friendly. It is fairly good size, usually not much of a wait to be seated on a normal day, they have a dining room in the back that could accommodate a party or bigger group

I ate dinner, luckily because of gastric bypass surgery I was able to get kids prices cause 18.99 is alot so Rayne and I was 6.99 for dinner each
Edit: They wanted to say that although I had gastric bypass and had 1 of the bowls and went through the buffet to sample some of the items even though i still ate less than Rayne that I no longer qualified but after much debate they only took off $4 of an adult buffet BUT they have this daily lottery where if your ticket ends in the #88 you get a free lunch you have to give a 5star review on Google and check in on facebook which prior to paying i did so then she had me search through my phone to verify i did it. Which i had but she had to then take my meal off completely lol so id say the food was good have had better but it’s OK, service is HOSTILE no one can speak a lick of English which makes it extremely important when working in AMERICA to be able to carry a conversation with your customers. And to learn that the customer is always right. The better the service and the less argument you want to give me will allow me to want to return and not CHANGE MY REVIEW from 5 stars to 3.5….if I could….so ill give 3. just cause of the service and the prices for those who haven’t had gastric bypass surgery and can’t receive a discount.

I am typically not a buffet person however Tokyo buffet and grill is my go to buffet for the most flavorful food and I totally mean that…the chicken is tender. The beef is tender. They have a great variety sushi to a hibachi type thing on a daily basis and desserts, fresh fruit salad. One other thing I like they keep these tables cleaned off, so you’re not sitting around with a bunch of dirty dishes. Free for big crowns or if you have your kids and they’re picky eaters they’ve got everything here. Except Pizza The staff is nice as well. We had to leave a special tip!
