Came in with my family last night and once we finished our meal we asked for the check. Our waitress brought the check back after I paid and as soon as I opened the book she handed me a pen and pointed at the 20% tip line before I could even fill anything out. Then as we were getting up to leave she rushed in to grab the book instead of waiting. This has been a huge issue at this place since they opened. We love coming here but it is extremely irritating being asked for a tip then having them rush the table as soon as you get up to see what their tip is. This is on top or the other issues like when they are refilling the buffett items the staff will damn near knock you over or cut you off. They are also super greedy. Brough the wife here on Mothers Day one year and they doubled the prices and called it a “Mothers Day Special”. Sad part is I was going to leave 20% until that happened. I left her $10 so she at least got something but we are probably not going to return after this last time. There is a nice Asian buffett in Aurburn called Paradise Buffett and we never have issues when we go there so that will probably be our new spot from now on.

I ate lunch at Tokyo Buffet on Coliseum in Ft. Wayne today. It is a gigantic buffet with something for everyone, including children. Additionally, the sushi bar is wonderful! Besides all the hot food choices and sushi, the buffet also has salads, cold sides, desserts, and ice cream. Lastly, at the back of the buffet counters is a hibachi grill where you can pick whatever you want grilled for you. If you love Chinese and buffets, this is a great place. Service is attentive and friendly. Lunch price for adults is $12 and $15 for dinner after 4:00.

This was my second — and definitely my last — visit. The food was honestly disgusting. I tried giving them another chance after four years, and while the staff is very nice, the food just isn’t it. The chicken should not taste like fish, and the fish shouldn’t smell as bad as it did.
They also claim to have 20 different kinds of sushi, but that’s simply not true. They had a variety, sure, but none of it was labeled, so you couldn’t even tell what you were picking up.
The price is decent, but not for the quality of the food. And if you’re going to serve banana pudding, use vanilla pudding with real bananas — not banana‑flavored pudding on top bananas and why did melon taste like perfume?
I had to come back to mention that I feel like I had food poisoning as well I was sick all day yesterday and the night of I highly don’t recommend this place and the board of health needs to shut them down after reading how many other people got sick off this place. It’s HORRIBLE DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! They get zero stars from me.

This place is amazing! We went for a family birthday with a large group. It has plenty of room and we were immediately sat. There’s good variety of food to choose from and everything was fresh and tasty. It looked and felt clean. Our server, Anna, was such a delight! She was really friendly and attentive, and made the experience even better.
Overall, great experience and would return to when in the area.

My fiancé & I went here last Friday or Saturday between 4:30-5pm. Part of the hot foods were either cold and hard, like it’s been sitting there forever. I went to get fried fish, and it wasn’t fresh and a lil hard. Now, as much as we pay for the buffet the hot foods needs to be fresh every hour. This place is a good place to it. They just need to keep on eye on all the hot foods, especially around dinner time.

Always have a great selection to choose from. Love the shrimp. Sushi is always fresh and tasty. To end your meal with great tasting ice cream and desserts. Great value and staff is always great about clearing your dishes. Love this place.

Had a field trip from MI to Indiana. On the way back to MI we stopped here. Food quality and selections were good. No complaints from the 30 kids and 4 adults in our group. The place was able to provide us a room for our group too. Glad we stopped here! Will be returning whenever we are down this way!

We’re regulars here, we come at minimum once a month. I personally have been coming here since i was a child.
Food is great, have never gotten sick from eating here (and i have some stomach issues so if that means anything)
Service, they are on top of keeping fresh food on the buffet and cups filled. I would only say once in a blue moon will a cup go unfilled, but it doesn’t affect us. 🙂 ive only seen it when someone new is working there.
Atmosphere, its an asian buffet. I do miss the koi that used to be in the front, but thats really about it. Its a large resteraunt that can handle a lot more than whats typically there. Ive seen it busy but never swamped.
We typically go for lunch, dinner does have choices for those who want crab, squid, etc, but we go for things that are typically lunch menu items so. 🙂

I’m visiting from Dallas, TX on a business trip, and I was curious to try this place while I’m in town. Here’s my honest take:
The Salmon Nigiri was pretty good; fresh and flavorful, so no complaints there.
The chicken nuggets were unfortunately cold, which wasn’t ideal.
The Egg Drop Soup lacked flavor. It definitely needed more seasoning to make it stand out.
The fried rice was decent, but nothing special.
As for the buffet options, there weren’t a lot to choose from, which felt a little limiting.
The Hibachi raw meat didn’t look great. The raw chicken especially had a lot of liquid coming out, which made me question its freshness.
Considering that Fort Wayne doesn’t have as many buffet options as a city like Dallas, I think there’s room for improvement. Food temperature and seasoning definitely need some attention to make it more enjoyable. It’s not a bad spot, but I was hoping for a bit more.

None of the food was hot. The temperature of the food is best described as, “it was in the microwave and looked hot but once you take a bite it’s cold in the middle and definitely needed more time.’’ Everything had a styrofoam texture to it.
I deleted my previous review to add to this one. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone due to finding flies and nats molded into the jello as I was eating it. I have photos as well, I don’t know how to post them here
