I just walked in here a few minutes ago. And no one ever came to greet me at the host stand. A woman was cutting sushi and could see me standing there, but she never came over. I waited for over ten minutes, and no one came out. I ended up just leaving without eating because no one seemed to want my business. I wouldn’t go there again.

My family and I are visiting the area on vacation. We came with for dinner at Tokyo Bay last night and were extremely let down with the service and experience.
We were seated a little before 7:30 for a pre-planned reservation. It took over an hour before the hibachi experience started. The waitress did a really nice job of doing her best to keep us updated – this was beyond her control. It was disappointing that the manager never came over to speak with the table.
To make matters worse, once dinner started we could not believe how flat the hibachi experience was. We are well accustomed to there being antics mixed in including throwing the vegetables into the crowd to catch. I can understand a desire to work quickly through the wait/backlog, but there was a huge missed opportunity to deliver the full hibachi experience once the chef started. Lastly, we felt the food was overpriced relative to other hibachi restaurants we visited.

What can I say? The food, atmosphere and service were all top notch. Did not wait very long for our food after we ordered it. We sat in the dining room not the hibachi. Very elegant design and layout of the restaurant. Even walking in the koi pond got my kids very excited before we even got inside. Everyone was able to find something the liked. We shared an Earthquake Roll (highly recommend). The staff was very friendly and everyone was smiling. Even with the remainder of the staff setting up for Valentine’s Day dinner nothing was out of place and nothing took away from the ambiance. Very happy that we went.

I ate here for dinner around 4:30. It wasn’t too busy. I had the beef udon and a nice small salad. I just drank water with my meal.
It is a large place with lots of hibachi areas, but there are areas where you can just eat a regular dinner. Plus a bar area.
My meal was excellent. The salad was delicious for dessert. I had the fried cheesecake!
Price is a reasonable ,service is good . The restaurant has high ceilings so voices will carry.

Horrible service. Food was ok. But definitely will not go back their again. The waitress was very friendly (younger lady) but the gentleman who is glued to his phone is very cocky and was extremely disrespectful to his workers (I am assuming management) Bathrooms are really bad too. Sinks were dripping all over the floors but the maintenance man was very nice and making repairs. Great atmosphere but the manager needs to be fired. My daughter and I couldn’t believe how he spoke to his staffing. All he cared about is his phone and was actively speaking foul about his coworkers in front of everyone.

Terrible service, food is always great but service is terrible! We made reservations DAYS in advance for Christmas Day. Very appreciative for being open Christmas Day but how are you going to let walk-ins be seated one after another before you have your reservations seated. Very unprofessional. Needs more common sense or stop letting the kids run the front. I as well as others had reservations and had to wait over an hour after our reservations because walk ins were seated before us. We were told 20 min waited 30. Was told another 20 min. Waited 30. Was told ANOTHER 20 min. So we left as well as other reservations. So clearly it’s the service in this workplace. The bartender out back was by himself and working it!! He did a great job! Get better people up front who knows what to do. Sincerely a Florida resident of over 20 years who’s had enough of this cluster mess…

I absolutely would say Japanese Hibachi is one of my favorite foods. I love that it’s cooked in front of me, it’s fresh, and the flavors are delicious. The food, service, and atmosphere were good- I’ve had better soup and salad. We went early afternoon so it wasn’t busy at all. However, 4 star because they up charged $4 per person for fried rice! That’s what should be included when at the hibachi grill! I agreed to it because that’s what I wanted to eat but I will not go back.

We had a reservation for Hibatchi on Christmas. When we arrived the hostess told us that our reservation was changed to the sushi bar and that she had called us yesterday to inform us of the change. This was a bold lie straight to our faces as we had no missed calls or voicemail from the restaurant. Even though it was their error, they would not seat our party for hibatchi and made my son cry on Christmas. That was the ONLY reason we chose this restaurant was for the hibatchi experience. We ended up sitting at a regular table and the o my good part of the meal was our sever, Erin. She was kind, professional and truly cared that her guests had a good experience. During our visit she apologized numerous times for the hostess’s behavior and the disorganized kitchen that was more than backed up. When our food finally arrived almost an hour after we ordered it, EVERYONE’s entree was COLD and they gave my father the wrong side item. We know it was a busy night and have all worked in service, but there is no excuse for lying directly to your customer’s face and serving cold food with crunchy rice. The only reason I would ever give this restaurant another try was because of the kindness of our server but we were less than impressed with the overpriced cold food.

The server and cook were really nice. The food made my entire family sick with food poisoning last night. I’ll never go there again, that was far too much money to then need to call off of work because we’ve been up all night uncontrollably sick.

I made a reservation for 6:45 with hibachi grill and even called to confirm the day before. The man on the phone told me yes you will have a dinner on the hibachi grille at 6:45 the day of. We arrived at 6:30 and they told us we needed to wait until 7:15 (for a regular table) meanwhile I told the manager I booked a hibachi grille table, which I showed that I had a reservation for. We were then sat at a REGULAR table and waited 30 minutes for our appetizers. After that, we waited 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES for our entrees. On record, our waitress, Erin, was fantastic – she was understanding, sweet, and such a fantastic waitress overall despite the fact that we complained (many times). When the food got there, it was cold. Granted, it was Christmas day and I understand the rush, but it was just really frustrating waiting for the food for that long and having the food being cold after such a long time. Once again – not a single complaint about our waitress Erin, absolutely fantastic and exactly what any restaurant would ask for in a server!
