It was really good when it was Osaka, but not as good now. Wife went through half a dozen plates before she found a clean one which was off putting. The sushi was tasty and the selection remains good, although I notice they have a lot of rice compared to what it used to have. Still the best value for money sushi in the area, but if the quality continues to drop, we will probably stop coming.

We ate there yesterday (Sunday) in the early afternoon. The “hot” food was warm, at best. Many of the buffet foods were miss-labeled. For example, Frogs Legs said “BBQ Chicken”. More funny than anything.
The Sushi selection is good! Better in fact than their predecessor in the same building. But again, the ones that are supposed to be hot (like the tempura) were cold (and soggy).
The selection was good. I would be willing to give this place one more try, but if the food is cold again, that’ll be it.

I will not be returning! Arrived at 5:45pm on Monday night and was hoping to hand a good meal. I have been coming here since it was Osaka buffet, but it is not the same quality food at all. Most of the food is cold, fried shrimp was mushy, crab rangoons appeared to hardly be stuffed or the filling had long leaked out. The smell in the place is of rotten fish- should have saved myself from the beginning. My partner and I decided that we wouldn’t be back and left our punch cards on the table. We could hear other customers around us who were dissatisfied with the food.too. The service has gone downhill as well- our server was picking stuff off the floor then bussing tables and refilling drinks without once washing her hands. No thank you, we are done with this place!

My family and I decided to try the place out yesterday for Easter and I’m glad we did! There were endless amounts of crab legs and sushi and our waitress was always there to help. Will definitely be returning again!

My suggestion for the hot buffet is find a few items that are actually “hot” and eat that, the selection is huge, and for about 9 bucks around lunch time its the largest in the area. But the selection size also presents a problem when the restaurant isn’t packed. Dishes don’t get replaced with new unless they get empty, so things get cold and kinda hard. If they could find a way to fill the place up around lunch time i’m sure everything would work out better for the hot buffet food. The service is prompt and polite and you can pay from your seat, big screen t.v.s every where.

Was there tonight & had dinner. My husband took a bite of his white rice & there was a long brown hair in it. By the time he realized it the rice with the hair was already in his mouth. They told us that sometimes the customers hair falls into the food when they bend over to scoop it out. Which would’ve been a reasonable explanation but the white rice is in a steamer with a lid. And you don’t really have to bend over to get into it because it is just about waist high & you use a white scoop to get it out. So it would be almost impossible for someones hair to float into it. The only person who was apologetic was our server which he got smacked in the arm by another female server for apologizing to us. We only got half off our meal but not off the drinks. After my husband had a piece of hair dangling out of his mouth with rice on it, I could not eat any more of my food because I lost my appetite. We also spoke to the owner which he also gave us the same excuse that it was a customers hair & it was not their fault for things that happen like that.

I was at this restaurant yesterday and I was greatly disappointed with the food and the service here. I miss OSAKA!! The food was horrible. Some had no flavor at all and some foods just way too salty to where I could not even stomach my first bite I had to spit out just about everything that went in my mouth. Luckily the crab was good. That’s the only thing we could actually eat there. We heard others around us complaining about the food and service as well. Never again will I be in this restaurant and I do not recommend it to anyone EVER.

A good selection of good food and deserts. Under previous name/owners, I would rate this a winning 5 stars. Unfortunately, our last few trips have been plagued with cold food from the buffet and unprofessional staff: Hostesses dressed in nearly beach attire. This was our “go-to” buffet, but now I believe we will make the trip to Osaka in Moline, instead.

Most of the time a good place to check out for a decent sushi selection. An all around good buffet though, especially for the price during lunch time. On occasion though it can be lacking, so take that into consideration.
