We are visiting from Arkansas and met Sophia she was an absolute delight along with her friendly staff and the food was absolutely delicious and phenomenal and the prices and portions are incredible! We even got a souvenir! Most definitely on my list to come back and most definitely recommend!!! Best sushi ever !⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed overnight in Fairhope due to a surgery the next morning. Found this little gem; food & service were excellent! We had crab rangoon as an appetizer, then Hibachi chicken & shrimp & Hibachi scallops. Hibachi came with soup, salad & fried rice. We also ordered sushi which was excellent. All of the food came quickly & the price was much cheaper than Foley & Gulf Shores Hibachi with much better service. We will definitely make more trips to Fairhope.

Drove 20 minutes for hibachi for my 8 year olds birthday. I was asked if we wanted a table or a booth, and I said we wanted hibachi. I assume, the woman who told us this was the owner, said we had to have a party of six or more in order to have hibachi at the actual hibachi table. If we wanted hibachi, they would just cook it in the kitchen. Unless there is 6 in your party I wouldn’t come here you are obviously not worthy of service.

No complaints on anything ordered. Great flavors, fresh sushi and hot and flavorful teriyaki. I would definitely return to this one.

We have been steady customers now for over a year. We have high standards for sushi establishments- lived in Japan for 5 years and have dined at hundreds of sushi bars there and across the USA mainland. Jacky is one of the finest sushi chefs we have met. He brings vast experience from his years at the top sushi restaurants in New York and never fails to please us with the freshest and most creative offerings. We look forward to many years of going there!

Take it from me and my fiancé , We’re picky about our Japanese food and have eaten at many Japanese places, including most within a 20 mile radius of this place and they are without a doubt by far the BEST. Food is high quality, delicious, and consistent. One of the owners is a sweet and helpful woman and they deserve your business! Don’t waste your time and money anywhere else.

have only ever gotten take out from here but i wish to dine in some day. their sashimi is top notch, no complaints whatsoever. not pictured: miso soup and my salad. you can also get your hibachi dinner to go here, i know in some places they don’t let you. the wait was also decent. i think the miso soup definitely needs some more flavour but it wasn’t awful so i don’t mind at all. my fried rice filled me up so well that i was surprised.

With so many great restaurants in Fairhope things can get a bit crowded. Tokyo is located conveniently next to the Pig that is far enough away from down town that it’s not overly crowded and you can still walk in without much wait. They have a large seating capacity with a hibachi section a regular dining and a sushi bar. Jackie and his crew do a great job, this is run by a great family and it gives off a very home town vibe.

Debra and I stopped for a bite of dinner after the Fairhope parade. We spotted this restaurant in the strip mall beside the grocery store. Thought we would take a chance, and check it out.
