We’ve been looking for a good place for sushi in the area and this place was open. We were glad we gave it a shot. The place could use some minor updates but really good sushi, and lots of menu choices. Comfy booth seats. Second time customer, will definitely come back.

Always fantastic service with beautiful, colorful, and delicious food. Never had a bad experience here. The sushi is perfect and sushimi always tastes fresh. Love this place. Will come back often.

Food is inconsistent. One day it is good the next it doesn’t taste fresh or right. My food made me sick also I can make better fried rice. Not clean. It’s dusty and unclean. Broken dishes and much more issues. Drive to a bigger city you will thank me.

The food is absolutely great. The waitresses we’re very friendly. I will definately eat here again. Id give a 4.6 if I could as it is great food. The only thing that kept me from five stars is the exterior appearance. To be honest I thought the place was closed.

Was told by a colleague to check this place out for good hibachi. She was correct. It is good. The dressing for the salad is not the normal ginger dressing but it had good flavor. Would eat here again.

Have visited a few times and it’s been good. Seated upon entering, speedy service. Meals have been good and plated nicely. Some of the best sushi I have had. Very delicious and fresh. Have and will return. Overall a nice meal and service.

this place was delightful! i ordered the hibachi tofu and my boyfriend got the bento tofu, both were excellent! we also shared the sweet potato roll which was fantastic. we were in from out of town and didn’t know it would be so good since it looks so modest from the outside. but don’t be fooled— the food is absolutely worth it and you get huge portions! if we ever pass through this area again we will be sure to stop in.

Wow !!! What a surprise. Met some friends for dinner @ 4:00. There were 6 of us.
Joanna was our server and OMG…. What a fabulous person. Very friendly, quite accurate in getting food to us and her attentiveness was amazing. A couple of our friends had ordered the Hibachi Filet steak dinner, with rice & veggies. (Which they loved). I ordered the sushi Trio with rice & a seaweed salad. My husband ordered a sushi roll. Both were extremely fresh fish and delicious. Ohhhh, I am not sure what they do with their fried rice, but it has some amazing flavor. Love it !!!
It does looks like they’ve taken over an old fast food building. Decor is lacking a bit, walls probably could use a refresh paint job…. but, no matter by 5:00…. the restaurant was absolutely packed !! All tables were taken with 4 people waiting for Togo orders.
We are only here for a week…. with our travels…. But we WILL be back for another meal before we leave.

My son and I are regulars here (we visit sometimes up to 3-5 times a month). So much so that we have our favorite booth and our waitress pretty much knows our order by heart. I often switch between coke and unsweetened ice tea, so that is the only thing she normally has to clarify. Other than that she knows our appetizer choices, salad choice, and how we like our filet mignon cooked. The flavors are not Americanized, which means it is not overly sweet. (I haven’t tried all the items that may have sugar in it, for the most part what I have ordered has not been sticky sweet). The flavors are much closer to authentic Japanese flavors than most Japanese restaurants, or Japanese fusion places we have eaten at. So this is always a pleasant surprise. We will continue to visit for as long as they are open and we are living in Crossville.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are allergic to shellfish or seafood, just let the waitress know and the chef will prepare your meal accordingly. I happen to be allergic to both, and considering they service a ton of seafood, I have never had a reaction. (I do carry an epi-pen just in case). Since I have a sefood allergy, they can make specialized rolls. For me, I get one with soy paper, rice avocado, cucumber and danmuji (yellow pickled radish) and cream cheese and sesame seeds. Sometimes the avocado is on the top and it looks pretty. I can enjoy the sensation of sushi without the negative of going into anaphalactic shock. Win-win.
