Pretty good portion sizes. Oxtail large meal came with 3 large ( third one in pict hidden under plantains) and 3 small pieces, with lots of rice and plantains as my choice of a side. Rice was so so little over cooked. Oxtails nice and tender seasoning on the mild side I prefer spicy but still good. Plantains were perfect not too ripe and cooked just right. Looking forward to trying some more stuff on their menu.

So I almost didn’t order because of the bad reviews. However, I eventually caved because I couldn’t find jerk chicken anywhere else. So I ordered the sweet plantains, jerk chicken, and white rice. It was delicious and had big portions for the price!
I live an hour away, so I had to reheat it by the time it got dropped off, but the chicken was still juicy and the plantains were still yummy. Thanks guys! I’m glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews!

The vegetarian meal was outstanding. I could eat their beans all day, every day. Plantains were delicious. I tried my husband’s Caribbean rice and the rice was cooked beautifully with mild flavor. My husband also got the hot wings and he said they are some of the best he has ever had – and they were hot. He loved them. Highly recommend and I wish them much success. Can’t wait to try something different next time.

I do not recommend that you eat from here unless you want to get sick. I recently just ate from here. I had the large ox tail plate with white rice and plantains, and I also ordered a prime rib….. I did not get my prime rib. They threw a Samosa in which is not what I wanted and then they did not give me white rice at all. But basically the ox tails need to be cooked way longer. They were very tough and hard to take off the bone. There was lots of oil in the “ gravy” and not lots of flavor. The rice they had given me was extremely dry, and the plantains that they gave me were cut extremely huge so the insides of them were raw. I did not enjoy that and I will not be coming back. I am extremely upset because I received food poisoning because of this. Again if you eat here YOU MAY GET SICK I am not the only person who has gotten very sick from eating from this place.

I honestly never give out reviews, let alone BAD REVIEWS, but the food here was just awful and I would not recommend to anyone. I ordered fufu and chicken curry, jerk ribs with sweet plantains, and samosas. The online menu said the samosas come with two pieces but they only give you 1. Had I known that, I would have ordered more since that was one of the only things I got that were remotely edible. The fufu was incredibly dry and crumbly and the curry chicken was so chewy it tasted like old chicken jerky. I’m not even sure how that’s possible because the chicken is supposed to be cooked with a curry sauce. The jerk ribs were good and well seasoned. However the sweet plantains tasted strongly of microwaved styrofoam, like they had just reheated them in the to go box and sent them on their way. I will not be eating here again.

Gonna be honest most of the 1 star reviews are left by sad sacks that expect the worker at the cash register to kiss their hand and tell them they’re perfect and cook them beef Wellington to order so ignore those.
I got their at 1 am on Elm St wanting Mac and cheese. Didn’t get that but what I got was some solid chicken and mashed that hit. Tyson at the counter was perfectly friendly and accommodating.
This spot is opened later than what Google says. Go there in person and don’t order online. Be a decent person, accept some flaws, and enjoy yourself. For what I paid I can say I had a good experience

I ordered on door dash but had the best experience they were out of what I had ordered and they called me not once but twice which is wonderful since I don’t answer my phone. Plantains were delicious and the curry goat was amazing. I will definitely be ordering again

Absolutely disgusting, ordered the jerk chicken and it came raw. The rice, mac and cheese, okra stew had absolutely no flavor. The only thing I didn’t throw out was the beans. Save your money and health and avoid this place at all costs

Disgusting! The oxtail was lukewarm on the outside and cold in the middle so I can tell it was microwaved. Tastes like American beef stew. 2 decent size pieces and 1 tiny one for over 15 bucks on door dash. Carribean rice has no flavor whatsoever. Shrimp was tiny and fries cold and soggy.

Looks nasty when you walk in. They were pretty nice but the oxtail stew was revolting. They forgot my sides and then what I did eat had me vomiting violently in the morning. I never get food poisoning and never leave reviews either but this was truly such a terrible experience.
